3⭐️ at a push.Room was clean but not nice. Worn carpets and old. Not in a good way as this is a very old building and could be a gem if they wanted.Bathroom was modern standard with a small walk in shower cubicle.Staff were great at check in and out.Didn’t have breakfast as I left too early.A bit difficult to find even with SatNav. I have amended Google maps to show where the carpark and entrance really is.There is a restaurant below the hotel, I’m not sure if they are the same business.Food was OK and not expensive, I doubt if the Schnitzel was homemade. Good side salad and nice Pils.

We booked through booking.com - when we checked out they said we hadn't paid yet. That seemed strange to us, but the booking was a while ago. At home we checked the receipts straight away and it was already paid for. So we called there. This is an error in the system and happens sometimes. It will be refunded. After several weeks, I wrote an email and asked about the status - the person didn't know anything about it, but wanted to inquire. After a few days I received a response saying that it had now been checked, that it was as I described it and that it would be refunded. After several weeks the same game again - this has been going on for over a year now. My last email was several weeks ago and remained unanswered. The communication was always friendly and I wanted to believe that it was an oversight, which is why I'm only writing the review after such a long time. But please be careful - I can't say for sure whether it's intentional or a scam, but not being able to reimburse the costs after multiple promises over a year is extremely annoying, which is why I strongly advise you to avoid the hotel - then play it safe.

Very nice and rustic hotel in what is possibly the oldest house in the heart of the city of Attendorn. Room 22 is very well laid out with a large daylight bathroom. The location in the back of the house ensured a lot of peace and relaxation. I really liked the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are plenty of free parking spaces and the proximity to the train station is another plus point. I felt comfortable and would be happy to come back when I have something to do in my hometown.

We ate here twice during our stay in Attendorn. The lady in service is very lovable, natural and open in her dealings with her guests. We felt very comfortable. We didn't stay overnight here, just ate and can really recommend it. Kitchen with simple, well-known German dishes. Salad, schnitzel or herring fillet. All good classics that you can recommend. The prices are reasonable and appropriate.
