Disappointing!Everything was very cramped. Tables in the breakfast room/restaurant were so close together that you inevitably had to hear everything from the people sitting next to you! There was nothing relaxing about it, you don't want to stay there longer than necessary. The room itself was very old-fashioned, winding and very dark. The 2 armchairs in it had mildew stains and it was very noisy. Our package also included a 25-minute whey bath in a whirlpool. We were informed of the date at check-in, so we adjusted our daily planning around this date. On the day of the treatment we found a note on our room door with a change of appointment. But we were already scheduled for the new treatment time. When we asked, we were told that the treatment would now expire. We were not offered an alternative. We mentioned it when checking out, but ultimately had to pay the full price. Very annoying! The only positive thing is that the staff was friendly and the parking spaces were free. Otherwise we were more annoyed than relaxed. We feel ripped off! Never again.

Positive: cleanliness and friendly serviceNegative:Room: dark (two of three ceiling lights broken); Bathroom door old (inside slowly falling into disrepair); Upholstery of the armchairs with mildew stainsSauna area: no drinking water; Drinks vending machines out of service; Own drinks prohibited according to house rules?!?Dining room: very small and narrowOther: We had a savings treatment included in the package (worth approx. 90 euros). The date was given to us when we checked in. We then planned our stay accordingly. On the morning of the corresponding day we were informed of a new appointment via a note! (According to house rules, rebooking/cancellation is only possible for guests up to 48 hours in advance) We then reported directly that we could not keep the "new" appointment. Answer from the staff: "It's a shame, but then it expires". We did not receive an alternative or compensation (nor an apology, of course)! So it was a pretty relaxing weekend and certainly not recommended.

My girlfriend and I were greeted very friendly upon our arrival. We were shown where to find things and were given the dates for our booked treatments. We were very happy there, the staff was very nice and helpful. A further stay is not ruled out

The service was manageable, the rooms were clean but a little homey. Heating didn't work in some rooms. Parking lots very tight and difficult to get to

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel from Friday to Sunday and would like to share our impressions. The rooms were just great – comfortable and well-equipped. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent. We would particularly like to highlight the two employees who were responsible for service in the restaurant. Both the gentleman and the lady were extremely polite and accommodating, which made our stay very pleasant.Unfortunately, the area intended for relaxation wasn't quite as enjoyable. The ladies conducting the wellness treatments seemed stressed and this was reflected in their communication with us. Instead of giving us a feeling of relaxation, the treatments felt more like a "must do" rather than an "oh how lovely."However, the SPA area itself is very lovingly furnished and absolutely clean, which we really appreciated.Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there is definitely room for improvement in the wellness area. We hope future guests can have a more relaxing experience.Thank you for the lovely days!

Average hotel in nice surrounding. The adjacent park is beautiful and the surrounding quite calming. Also, it’s not far from the beautiful city of Soest. Now on to the hotel itself. The rooms have different motives, we stayed in the Marilyn Monroe room. The room was okay but nothing special. In general the hotel felt quite old and the style was
questionable. Very colourful and not stylish. The wellness facilities seem good enough. We only tried the basement pool and sauna. Sauna was good.Breakfast was okay but no hot food except for cooked eggs and scrambled eggs on demand. We also had dinner here. At checkin we were handed a piece of paper on which we should mark our wishes for dinner. When I asked if it was included in the price the receptionist replied it was so we went on and chose dinner. At checkout I was asked to pay for dinner which was quite confusing. The receptionist at checkout - which was another one - said it was not included. After some minor discussions we could leave and the dinner fee was waved.Quite confusing to be honest. All in all an okayish stay. I would say there are better options in the area though. The entire hotel could use a makeover.

For a *** hotel you get really nice rooms here, the service was absolutely courteous and friendly. The wellness treatment I received (bathtub with massage jets) was super pleasant and relaxing. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of gastronomy, but for the price it's absolutely fine. I would go there again at any time.

Hats off to the staff! Do a very good job!!! Our stay was marred by the owner's arrogant behavior towards the staff.
