Perfect hosts, a 5-star room for the price, a great bathroom. It is also quiet and well located, close to the Schützenhalle event venue.

The two of us went to the Pension Becker with our gravel bikes and spent the night there after a stage on the Ruhr Valley cycle path. The rooms are a bit old, but very well equipped and clean. We were particularly impressed by the service and the breakfast. Since we eat a vegetarian diet, a wonderful breakfast was prepared for us according to our needs. There were specially homemade spreads with fresh, regional ingredients and Shakshuka. We were also able to safely store our bikes in a garage. Great value for money, we would come back at any time!

Very simple accommodation, but everything was very clean and tidy. The four thirsty cyclists were welcomed with a delicious beer. The additional breakfast for €9.00 was simply great. Almost everything is “homemade” from the bread, rolls and the delicious sausages. You can't expect more!

We asked for a room last night at 6 p.m. without prior notice! Everything wasn't a problem. Super nice reception and very helpful! The price-performance ratio is really okay! The room and bathroom were clean and good!The breakfast, however, clearly stands out! With homemade sausages, organic cheese and everything from species-appropriate animal husbandry! The whole breakfast is prepared with a lot of love! It was exceptionally good!!The beautiful garden with some seating areas invites you to linger!We can definitely recommend this seemingly inconspicuous guesthouse!Have fun staying right on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path!

Bicycle tour “Ruhrtalradweg”The guesthouse is centrally located not far from the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path.The welcome was very nice and warm.The rooms have a TOP price-performance ratio and are super clean.The breakfast is TOP in every respectI can only recommend the accommodation

We were given a warm welcome by the owners, who asked us what we wanted to do and were given great tips and recommendations. We even offered a drop-off and pick-up service. Everything clean, quiet location. Breakfast was served, which was something to behold, and the breakfast sausage and sweet spread were also home-made and highly recommended. If desired, a multi-course meal can be passionately prepared for the evening.

In terms of price/performance, great communication and service, very friendly, everything was very clean.The breakfast was excellent with the best service.Unfortunately we were just passing through, so not much can be said about the location.If we come to the area again, we would be happy to stay overnight/stay in your house again.

Very friendly hosts, well-kept and clean rooms, great connections to surrounding cycle paths, there was a garage to store your bikes, the breakfast was incredibly tasty and much of it was homemade.

We stayed at the guesthouse for an overnight stay with 5 cyclists and a companion. The guesthouse is located almost directly on the Ruhr Valley cycle path and is easy to reach.We were warmly welcomed. Afterwards we were able to enjoy a very good dinner as a surprise menu and breakfast the next morning. We can only recommend the guesthouse and the innkeepers.

After a rainy day on the bike, the room was a very good rest.In the bathroom there was a bathtub for 2 people with a starry sky. The underfloor heating dried our wet things well.The breakfast was sufficient and varied. We were pleasantly surprised.The host parents were very friendly.We regretted only staying for one night.A clear 7 star recommendation from us.

“What nice hosts” and “Oh my god, the food is good” were the first thoughts when we came to this guesthouse.We were welcomed on our bike tour with a delicious, isotonic cold drink, started a conversation with a super nice (and affectionately sarcastic) greeting and were also given the opportunity to leave our expensive bikes safely parked in a garage.You MUST book the breakfast, it's just so delicious (lots of homemade stuff, everything fresh, lots of choice). Unfortunately we couldn't book dinner anymore (because we came too spontaneously), but we're pretty sure that there can't be anything better nearby. Just say what your budget is and get something great served up there. Just mention what you don't like at all, the rest is a surprise (because it's all local and super fresh). They can cook, really :)And yes, I was really that excited, without our bike tour we would never have found it. If we ride the Ruhrtal cycle path again, I will definitely book it again, maybe even more than one overnight stay :)

First of all - we will be repeat offenders!Mr. and Mrs. Becker gave our (quite crazy) group a warm welcome and made sure that for many of them, their stay at the guesthouse was seen as half the occasion. You feel very comfortable, and the wishes and characteristics of everyone in our group were recognized very quickly and fulfilled on a daily basis.
