Absolutely great if you travel with dog(s). In the stylishly furnished rooms you are greeted by dog beds, bowls with water, treats and dog towels. We've never experienced anything like this! The mattresses are great and you sleep like a log! The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the area invites you to enjoy dog walks. Mr. Vogt and his team are very friendly and helpful! This is our third time here and we keep coming back :-)

We spent 3 nights with our young dog. Everything was really thought of for the dogs. Super friendly service, courteous and simply nice. We felt very comfortable. We would be happy to come back.

We were there for three days and had a dog with us.Nice, clean rooms, the breakfast room is spacious and comfortably furnished. The dog was always allowed to be there too. The hotel is very well located for hiking or just being out and about with your dog. The landlord and the staff were very friendly.I would happily recommend it.

Overall we had a great stay.The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The quality of the food was okay. The breakfast, which was advertised as fabulous on Booking, was average and didn't offer the breadth we got at other "fabulous" breakfast buffets. The room corresponded to a 3 star standard and was therefore quite expensive (despite the generous size). The shower fitting was defective (temp regulator); the entire room could only be dimly lit. The balcony offers a wonderful view of the greenery. Everything is done here for dogs. Big praise for that. Playground, dog walks. Generally recommended.

This is the second time I've been to Hubertushöhe with my dogs and my girls, we feel really comfortable there, from breakfast to dinner, the service was super nice and very friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and the Doggis can go everywhere. We will definitely be back, thank you very much for your kindness.

Too bad the restaurant is only open from Thursday evening to Sunday evening, the other days you have to find food somewhere else. Dinner is good but a bit overpriced for what you get! Everything else is to your liking and the location of the hotel is a gem for walkers and dog lovers!

The location of the hotel is great for hikes, you can start into nature directly from the hotel. The room was nice, but I found the light to be very dim.The food and the breakfast buffet were very tasty and plentiful. During dinner and when we sat on the terrace afterwards, we wished that someone had asked for drinks more often.The hotel is really very dog-friendly and even our “shitjack” was allowed to go everywhere and has enough space for herself. There was a dog bed and bowls in the room, and there were also treats that people liked to eat. There was even a small present for the dog as a farewell.We had a great weekend and will definitely come back again!

I was looking for a hotel where the dog is king and not just allowed in the room. That's exactly what I found here. The dog can accompany me everywhere. Overall, this leads to a balanced atmosphere in the hotel and the complex. The staff is super dog-friendly. Everything is there for the dog and you don't have to lug around bowls and baskets.The spacious garden invites you to relax.The breakfast buffet is nicely presented and there is something for every taste.I thought it was nice that you were assigned a fixed table during your stay.I also took advantage of the half board option and was not disappointed here either.In the evening you receive a 3-course menu and can choose between 3 main courses. The dishes were delicious. The price is more than fair for themPerfomance. I also like the specified meal time of 6 p.m. In the afternoon there is homemade cake.

The food was great 😋. Very friendly staffThere is even a drinks fridge. Just take it out and write it down. Pay at the end. Rooms were clean and there was even a kettle with coffee.It's a bit out of the way but very quiet and right on the Rothaarsteig.

My wife gave me a long weekend in the hotel for my birthday. The arrangement included the Junior Suite + breakfast and the evening menu every evening. The entire service was always very attentive and helpful and really nice. Everything was really very authentic. The junior suite was clean and well maintained. We also had our dog with us, who was allowed to go everywhere with us. The hotel has set up water bowls everywhere and there is a designated dog walking area. A dog shower with towels, shampoo and hairdryer is also provided.I really can't understand the reviews here regarding the pricing. People rarely seem to go out in their home country, otherwise they wouldn't say something like that. So I don't know of any store anymore that can sell a glass of open wine for €5.50 or where the Aperol still costs €6.50. So if you're not willing to pay these prices, you might want to stay at home. Because that is really very, very far away from usury or higher priced.All in all, we are looking forward to the next visit because we really had a great weekend at the hotel/inn.

We were passing through and got a really nice spot here with our camper with a dog. Friendliness is really important here and despite being campers, we were welcomed like any other guest.Next time we will definitely stop here again 👍🏻

My wife, our dog and I spent a very nice weekend there (08/16/2024-08/18/2024). The hosts truly deserve the description, very friendly and accommodating. You notice straight away when you check in that your dog is really welcome. We had half board and were not disappointed. The breakfast buffet is generous and varied. At breakfast you can already choose for the evening. Dinner was also delicious, all dishes were personally cooked by the boss. The location of the hotel is very quiet at the end of the valley, there is no through traffic and so after dinner you can sit outside on the terrace and have a cozy drink. The dogs are also taken into consideration there, drinking bowls and water are always there. There is also a very nice lawn next to the property, and a dog walk and a small stream are directly behind the house. Our room was rustic and appropriately furnished for the area, free WiFi is a given. There are also rooms with modern facilities.Our conclusion: A nice starting point for hiking with a dog. We would like to come back

Very nice! The hotel is clean and well maintained. We stayed there for one night with our dog. Unfortunately. We felt really comfortable and welcome. We would have liked to have stayed longer. We didn't need the dog shower, but our dog definitely needed it!The surrounding area is perfect for lovely walks and hikes with dogs.The food was super tasty.If we get stuck on duty again, we'll definitely come back.
