We have been to the holiday park for the 7th time now, as the beautiful view of the valley, the peace and quiet and the accommodation are simply great. Unfortunately, the park is getting very old and the outdoor areas are no longer as well maintained as they once were. The houses (at least what we had) were very neat and well-maintained in terms of furnishings. Unfortunately, there are some holes in the wall and the windows are crying out for cleaning and the soap dispensers are not being filled, but overall this accommodation is recommended. The swimming pool and sauna are included and really okay. But here, too, the swimming pool water was unfortunately riddled with scraps of tissue paper (let's hope that was what it was) and was not properly monitored. The whirlpool out of service. The evening lighting is very beautiful and it's fun to swim in the play of colors. The 2 saunas are clean and tidy, as is the relaxation room. Bathrobes and towels are provided free of charge. Conclusion: We hope that the outdoor facilities and balconies don't deteriorate any further and we'll be happy to come back.

The hotel is a bit old. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. A compass would be helpful in the complex resort with many stairs and hallways. The spa area with sauna and swimming pool could be furnished a little more lovingly. Cozy accents and storage options are missing. Unfortunately the whirlpool was broken during our time. All in all the hotel seemed lifeless. The very friendly service at the breakfast buffet should be highlighted.

Great hotel complex with very nice, friendly and helpful staff. You feel very comfortable and welcome everywhere, whether at the reception or the hotel bar or in the restaurant. We had a 52sqm room, which was well maintained and quite comfortable.The service is really good! We found an injured bat and were given everything we needed to care for it. And we were even allowed to leave them with us overnight. But we managed to pamper them up again before going to sleep.The only drawback is the swimming pool. When we were there there were some ?skin particles? In water. This could be filtered better.All in all a really nice hotel and we will definitely come back!

All in all it was very nice there. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean.It's quite a labyrinth though. Getting from our house 4 to the breakfast room took a while and involved a few stairs (no elevator in the entire building)The service at the reception is very friendly and is available at any time if you have any questions. We also found it very good that there is a summer card (email with Qr code) that allows you to travel by bus and train for free. A bus stop is also close by. So we were able to take the bus into town to rent bikes :)The breakfast buffet is great! Delicious and diverse selection. Dinner there was also good.

The Dorint Hotel Winterberg offers excellent accommodation for a relaxing stay in the Sauerland.The rooms are modern and excellently equipped, so you immediately feel at home. Even though the hotel itself is a bit older, it still exudes a charming, traditional character that fits in well with the surrounding area.Although the restaurant was closed during our stay, a small bistro menu provided for our physical well-being.Here there were simple dishes such as ready-made pizza and tarte flambée that were put in the oven. Even though the culinary offering was quite limited, it still tasted good and provided us with enough food.The location of the hotel is particularly pleasant, as it allows you to quickly set off for numerous leisure activities in the area.The only small drawback is the additional fee for parking, which is easily overcome by the overall positive impression of the stay. Overall, a recommended address for anyone looking for comfortable and well-equipped accommodation in Winterberg.
