The attitude at the reception desk was so bad that I had to write down my experience. At 7 o'clock on the day of check-out, I was told that I needed to check-out later because I was tired, but the relevant fees were not informed at the front desk. When I checked out before 2 pm, the receptionist told me in a very bad tone that he would be charged 50 euros for room damage caused by late check-out! I understand that there is a fee for late check-out, but the fee was not informed in advance and the price charged afterward was so greedy and unacceptable! Late check-out charges are based on reasonable market prices. We stayed in a hotel for 75 euros a night, but after three hours of late check-out, we asked for 50 euros in compensation afterwards. We treated the customers like fools and even kept our luggage until we paid. Their attitude and behavior are so bad that they are like gangsters. I strongly recommend that all travel platforms terminate their cooperation with them! Don’t let any more consumers suffer!

In the middle of Hagen city center near the train station. Bad parking options. Parking spaces could only be reserved for us by calling ahead. It's noisy on the main street when the windows are open.

Tiny room, bed cover had multiple erasers. Room furnishings are getting old. WiFi absolutely terrible. Shower head broken, ceiling lights in the bathroom just hanging down, only one socket in the room and it's under the tiny desk in the very corner of the room, housekeeping and emptying the trash can only upon request at the reception.Location okay, very loud outside. Hotel lights on the windows of the rooms make it impossible to open them in the evening because 10,000 insects collect in the light of the hotel lights.Staff nice.Price and performance don't match

Unfortunately I was disappointed. Sure, it's a small city hotel, not a big chain. But unfortunately, essential things go wrong:Worst thing first: The WiFi was unusable. Hardly any data throughput, absolutely unsuitable for working or even video calls. Then: An elevator that you are not allowed to use at night for safety reasons? Guys, what's this supposed to mean? You can't even go to the 5th floor, where breakfast is served. The thing needs to be replaced. This is an absurdity. The single room was super small, but the bathroom topped it off. I'm neither small nor slim, but I haven't had to push myself into the shower either. Apparently there was an investment, but savings were made at completely the wrong end. Too bad.Even though it was cheap, unfortunately I will no longer be a guest. In the end it's not worth the savings to me.

Went to Dortmund's Champions League game against PSV and checked in here as it was the only hotel within a 30km radius that cost less than €100 for one night. From the outside it looked a bit questionable, but the entrance area gave some hope. Unfortunately, the rooms are very old, as is the technology. Equipment and furniture. The sofa was sagging, the shower was pretty poor and there was an old radio embedded in the wall next to the bed that had clearly seen better days. Breakfast was a ray of hope from a visual perspective, but unfortunately it wasn't a revelation in terms of taste either. At least we could park for free.
