Spent a short vacation with grandchildren.... Family rooms could be a little more spacious. Staff, food, service great. Leisure room too small (table football in the hallway) and little room for play for families with small children.

Family room with lake view, great! Even though the house was fully booked, everything worked out! When families travel, it is clear that things can get a little louder.

The accommodation has a great location right on the lake, in front of it there is a very nice football field.Otherwise there is only a VERY SMALL playground and a VERY SMALL leisure room with table tennis and air hockey. The lounge, including the small children's corner, is nicely designed. Your own group room is as loveless as an office with bright lights. Absolutely unsuitable for nice evenings. The staff never tried to seem friendly or even helpful. It seems clear that you are geared towards school classes whose children you want to correct immediately. There's no other way to put it: everyone tended to be unfriendly and extremely annoyed. You can only use drinks from the youth hostel on site, the prices are very high.Breakfast is OK. Rolls sausage cheese cornflakes. The dinner is extremely tasteless and overcooked (even for a youth hostel). It is put on the plate by one person. The vegetarian dish may not be combined with other dishes; it is not intended that way. Children are also not allowed to stand briefly in the buffet room and wait for friends or parents to “please leave here”.The rooms are very functional and were clean. The view of the lake is very beautiful. All in all, the youth hostel is particularly impressive because of its location. There is also a lot you can do in the immediate vicinity. Even with low expectations and the price, the rest was rather disappointing.
