Small hotel, a bit older but everything clean and quiet, located in the middle of the city center. WiFi and TV available in the rooms. Nice staff, prices okay, breakfast buffet sufficient and tasty. You get two keys - one for the front door and one for the room. The reception is closed in the evenings - so coordinate with the hotel in advance when you will arrive. There is a cell phone number on the front door so that in the event of an unplanned delay, a hotel employee can come by to "check in" within about 5 minutes. We'd love to come back here next time we're in Lüdenscheid!!

One thing first: It was clear to me that I wasn't going to find a luxury resort...The single rooms are very small (approx. 9 square meters including bathroom), the furnishings are certainly far past their zenith. No smoke detectors in the room or hallway, escape doors are hinged incorrectly, only a fire alarm hidden behind a flower right at the entrance and I only noticed fire extinguishers in the lobby. Despite the smoke extraction system and sirens, it will be difficult to escape from the attic. How can a fire protection test be passed under these conditions? Reception and kitchen were one, breakfast was below standard. If you arrive late, you won't get any more baked eggs, which you could possibly eat with baked rolls. The location: central, yes, but it also means loud! The brewery attached to the homepage (actually a good selection criterion) is being renovated and is therefore not available. Unfortunately, this information is missing on the website! The only positive thing was the friendly staff.… therefore a well-intentioned (and hardly deserved) 2 stars…All in all, I can't really recommend the hotel. Too bad! The house definitely had potential.

The hotel is very old and noisy.There is no hanger. The bedding stinks.The breakfast is more than "simple".Bathroom is very very dark ☹️

The hotel is simple and a bit old, but somehow still has a certain charm. It's definitely clean and tidy, the beds are good. Bathroom small. Service very nice and a good breakfast.

Quiet hotel in the middle of the city, the pedestrian zone is right around the corner, the rooms are very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel has its own parking spaces and the Hopfen und Salz …

Beautiful old building. The furnishings were also as before. Not ugly. We had a room on the 2nd floor. There was no elevator. The room had sloping roofs. This is not pleasant because it limits the space that can be used. You don't have to change the bed every day. Changing bath towels is possible. That didn't happen. Breakfast was simple. Getting in and out of the shower was not pleasant. Price including breakfast for 2 people for 4 nights was € 444. Everything else was clean. Friendly employees too. Sometimes it was noisy in the evening. A great restaurant next to the hotel. The WiFi in the room was very slow.

The hotel and rooms were super nice. The breakfast was absolutely good. Everything you needed was there. Parking is a bit inconvenient. Despite the paid parking space, all the hotel parking spaces were full and I had to look where I could park myself. But otherwise highly recommended.

A little outdated hotel. A renovation or modernization would be appropriate. Hotel manager very friendly, which cannot be said about the staff. If you like Lüdenscheid itself, you can give the location 5 stars because it is very close to the city center, which I would only get 1 star. Well, I was here on business.

The service on the phone was very friendly and courteous.Unfortunately there were one or two dusty surfaces in the room and the toilet ventilation runs for a long time and loudly.I recommend a sleep mask for sleeping because the blinds are bright and far away from the windows and serve more as a privacy screen than as a blackout.The location is close to the main station and at the same time far enough away so that it is not noisy.All in all, I'm satisfied but not overwhelmed.
