Great rooms, great atmosphere. You can have a really great party there. We were there with 20 people and also with 200. Really cool!!!And the farm also has 19 rooms. What more could you want?

We celebrated our wedding at the Büchtmannshof last Saturday. The location literally made our wedding a dream wedding. The picturesque old barn with beautiful ambient lighting, the really excellent food and the very courteous service stood out. The support from the event manager Mr. Baar was also great. Always approachable and every wish was tried to be implemented. I would recommend this location to everyone.

A bit old, but it's nice to celebrate there.

We have been coming to the Büchtmannshof every year since 2015 and can only say good things about it. The apartments are nice and spacious with a kitchenette, living/dining room and bedroom. The delicious breakfast should also be praised. And the employees are all friendly and helpful. We'll be there again next year.

We got married at the Büchtmannshof and reserved all the rooms for our guests- Working with the manager and his team was smooth and professional. We were recommended many different service providers with whom the Büchtmannshof has been working for many years (florist, DJ...). We were not disappointed by anyone and were really very satisfied with the work of everyone involved.- The concept of the Büchtmannshof as an event location is very good, but also well-planned. You should take this into account when planning your own. Of course, our personal wishes were still taken into account and implemented.- The location is quiet and idyllic with a rustic atmosphere.- The entire area is beautifully designed inside and out. The barn is modernized and suitable for all seasons.- The food was excellent and all guests enjoyed it very much.- Overall the service was very good, friendly and professional.We were very happy with our choice and would recommend the Büchtmannshof for any kind of celebration.

We got married a year ago today and we thought everything was great. Everything went according to our expectations. Of course you could always have done something better, but everything was still great and you did it the way you wanted to celebrate. Everything else always depends on the guests and how you create the mood yourself.

In short, simply a fantastic location.We were looking for a location with a playground and sleeping accommodations for our wedding celebration including a free wedding ceremony. It didn't take long and we came across the Büchtmannshof about 70km away from us. The “journey” was definitely worth it. The farm is beautifully laid out and offers sleeping space for around 58 people. The location has more than enough space for our number of guests, which ended up being 85 people (including 35 children up to 12 years old), and at the same time offers several places to retreat if you ever need one. Food and drink were available at a flat rate per person. We found the prices to be fair for what was offered, but everyone has to decide for themselves.We can highly recommend the Büchtmannshof as a location for a wedding or other celebration with this great ambience and would like to say a huge thank you to Hassan and the staff.Thank you for this great place for our unforgettable event.

We celebrated our wedding in Büchtmannshof at the beginning of June - and were really very satisfied.We really liked the location from the start. Since there were many children among our guests and some had to travel a long way, the offer of a barn, a hotel with a playground was a great fit.Our wedding took place outside in front of the barn, the celebration itself was in the very beautiful barn. The event team responded to all of our wishes and demands as much as possible. Since we don't live in the area, communication and planning with the event team still went smoothly.We cannot understand some reviews. We have only received very good feedback from our guests about the hotel, the service team and the delicious food. It was clearly communicated from the start what was possible and what was not. For example, the DJs from the region already know that the system in the Büchtmannshof has to be used, we found the volume to be optimal, and there are also guests who want to chat during the party.We can therefore really recommend the location for weddings, and would like to thank the whole team again for a wonderful wedding!!

We were there for a comedy event. The coffee/breakfast room was not very attractive and dark and didn't invite us to linger in advance.It was cozy in the event room itself and with a few small mistakes in the catering (you should already know which drinks you have) it was very nice here. Price/performance during the event was good.

This is our feeling.I wanted to go much further but the characters aren't enough...Briefly summarized:At the beginning everything was great, even better than expected, but then little by little the unpleasant things started to happen. Some misunderstandings, but also real impudence:1. Only when I asked did I find out that we can't accommodate all of our guests. This was a misunderstanding and the employee no longer works there. Our problem is that we don't know how to accommodate us now.2. We weren't told that the sound system on site was really bad and that it was cordoned off by the city of Celle. You have to know this because the DJs MUST use this system and are not allowed to bring their own. Ours even advised us against the location because there had been several problems recently.2. the manager is super nice and accommodating in advance. Service top. But only as long as it goes his way and you pay. He constantly made himself unpopular during the celebration, insulted guests and even took the cake server from us and basically cut the wedding cake himself.After the flat rate expires, he doesn't give a damn about you and that's it for service.The funny thing about it: we were warned about him, but at first he seemed so incredibly nice and competent that we thought it was a misunderstanding. Unfortunately not.The guests were really rudely harassed outside to be quiet, otherwise the residents would complain.THEN YOU CANNOT OFFER CELEBRATIONS HERE!3. the rooms are dilapidated, partly defective and one has enormous water damage, but was still charged at full price.In the corner of the hallway there is a large open shaft into which someone could easily fall (I would estimate about 50x50cm, a child can easily fit in there and it is enough for an adult to get injured).4. Breakfast until 10 a.m. was the order of the day. Sporty if the celebration lasts until 3 but it's good. At 09:54 it was cleared away and as a bride I didn't get anything, bad luck. I then kindly asked if you could just leave the leftovers from the buffet for another 10 minutes, as you don't have to deliver or serve anything new. Just leave it there. Incidentally, apart from the manager, all of the employees speak little to no German and reacted extremely unpleasantly to my request. I didn't get any more coffee because there was only one brewer here.5. We had agreed to celebrate until three, after which we could sit down with the last few guests and have a drink without being entertained. The misunderstanding: We didn't get any more drinks; after all, we only paid until three.My question: Where else should I get the drinks at this time if not from there? The manager probably thought we would bring something for it.They could have just given us two bottles of wine, that's all we wanted. At this point I unfortunately became a bit abusive because of the cheeky answer.We waited before paying to see whether they would at least accommodate us despite all the incidents. This was denied.We were then indirectly threatened with a lawyer if we didn't pay within the next 7 days.Admittedly, of course, well after the payment deadline due to the above-mentioned expectations but without any prior official reminder.We then decided to let it go but at least make it public what you get for your money here.We paid around €6,000 for our wedding, but the flat rate has since been increased.Given the total, you would think that you could leave it alone here and there, for example, just leave the buffet standing for another 10 minutes, or just make coffee for the bride and groom.But I quote:“You paid until three, you won’t get any more.”That's the creed here.The barn is really beautiful, but knowing what we know now, we would advise against getting married here.
