We spontaneously spent three nights at Hof Ehlers and will certainly come back.The holiday apartments are beautiful, the farm is in an idyllic location and is lovingly cared for and the Ehlers couple were very warm hosts.The breakfast was small and nice, there is a lot provided for children (especially smaller ones): baby bed, high chair, small playground and various vehicles.I can only wholeheartedly recommend the farm in every respect.

An oasis for peace and relaxation. Well-kept atmosphere in the Südheide. Ideal starting point for hiking, cycling or car excursions to the region's attractions.Beautiful holiday home with upscale amenities. Ground level access, including to the main house. Breakfast is also served there. Rich with regional products. Plastic packaging is largely avoided. Waste separation is exemplary. In the evening the landlady conjures up delicious things from the kitchen. Mrs. Ehlers and her husband are very friendly and help wherever they can. Whether hiking or cycling, they always know the answer. We particularly liked Caesar, the farm dog. He barks at everyone, but he's a nice guy. The whole resort is very clean andwell cleaned up. The Ehlers family are great hosts and therefore 5 stars.

What is unfortunately not true is that there were too many windows through which people could be watched and there are a lot of mosquitoes there, so a mosquito repellent would be useful

We were at the Ehlers farm a few years ago with our small child. Because of this good experience, we stayed in the holiday home with our two children this year. We received a friendly welcome and everything we needed was in the holiday home. Even if something were missing, you could ask about it. It's ideal for the children because not only are vehicles, a trampoline and a mini playground available, but the yard is also "visually limited" so that you can let the children "run" with peace of mind. The small pool is another highlight. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. There are numerous flyers available for excursions and the tips from the hosts are worth their weight in gold. We will definitely come by again. We thank you!

Family-run with a very friendly owner couple on site. Very quiet location, you can relax here. There is also an indoor swimming pool and special requests are available at breakfast. Great attention is paid to cleanliness everywhere. Only the WiFi has a life of its own. Sometimes it's great (over 50 MBit), sometimes it can't be found (tried with both an Apple computer and an Android smartphone at the same time). Overall, definitely a recommendation.

Our vacation at the Ehlers farm was really nice. The farm is very quiet in a small town, wonderful for families with children, couples and those looking for relaxation. The courtyard is fantastic, a wonderful garden with lots of places to linger... a small pond, a large trampoline, Kettcar's for the kids,... seats for a cozy get-together and a pool. There is something for every taste. Our dog was also allowed here without any problems. And on top of that, there are great excursion tips from the hosts. We (group of 8 people) really enjoyed it here. Definitely recommended!!!!

The rooms are a bit small but sufficient. They have a nice garden and a small indoor pool. The location is reasonable. Centrally from there you can easily reach the leisure park and animal park, the bird park is also highly recommended. There is a lot of history in town. Keep it up, we'll come back when things work out again. Greetings

A very nice nature hotel. Our arrival was uncomplicated, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and lovingly furnished. The breakfast is rich and delicious! Great excursions into the heath.

Unfortunately we were only here for 3 days and felt very comfortable in the Heidezimmer. Very lovingly run hotel, beautifully landscaped and well-kept garden, even with a specially designed dog park on top of that. Marion and Heinrich were very nice and attentive hosts, we had nice evenings. And we learned a lot of interesting facts about the Lüneburg Heath and the surrounding area and got good tips for excursions. We felt comfortable 😀🫶

Nice, quiet location. Unfortunately, I was in a small attic room with extremely limited space (despite three-digit accommodation costs). TV was totally adjusted and the programs could only be entered numerically (e.g. 16). No mini safe in the room.

We spent a week as a family (one double, one single room) in this beautiful nature hotel. For us there is absolutely nothing to complain about, although we wouldn't do that here anyway, but rather directly on site if at all. However, there was no reason for this. The location, the furnishings of the rooms, the breakfast, the cleanliness and especially the friendliness of the farm owners were really excellent! There were useful tips for activities tailored to the weather conditions from the landlords and we were even kindly loaned a hiking book for the duration of our stay. Thanks again for this from here. We will definitely be happy to come back and can only recommend the hotel.
