My daughter was here on her first school trip and has celiac disease. She therefore has to eat strictly gluten-free. I was worried a lot beforehand, but everything worked out perfectly. She was well looked after at all times and she enjoyed it too.Many thanks to the kitchen!!!

Beautiful area in the middle of the heath surrounded by old forests directly on a river swing with a small bathing area.Historic outdoor courtyard with adjacent bakery including brick oven.An active support association and many patrons do their part to put and maintain this hostel on a solid foundation.

Beautifully located youth hostel. We were there with a large group and two other groups at the same time. Meals were becoming very scarce. It was added, but overall a bit tight. There are very few sockets in the rooms and the toilets and showers are only in the hallway. The staff is a bit rude. The reception is only staffed briefly in the morning and when you call the direct number provided, someone comes over reluctantly.

Unfortunately the room wasn't clean and we had to pay a double room supplement, even though it was only designed for 2 people. Unmodern sanitary facilities, too few showers for the large number of guests. Unfortunately, other guests were very drunk, loud, unfriendly, which made the overall picture uneasy. Staff very friendly, great location, breakfast is ok, just very full dining room, if necessary offer half an hour longer (7.30 a.m. - 9 a.m.)

Nice staff! Delicious food, home cooking. There is also always salad to choose from. Beds are okay, it's just a youth hostel. We have a family room with 2 bunk beds, but there are only three of us. Grandma with 2 grandchildren. We also have a bathroom with a shower all to ourselves. The surroundings are really beautiful. The hostel is located almost in the middle of the forest. It's only a few steps to Örtze. It may be very cold, but the children will definitely have a bath!

Went to the youth hostel for the seminar, but without an overnight stay. The food was delicious, the lady in the dining room was very friendly and accommodating. The seminar room was fine. The location of the youth hostel is great!

Rooms okay but not modernized. Youth hostel spacious, clean and well maintained. Foosball was free. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, there was a wide selection of bread rolls and even the coffee was tasty. Dinner is recommended, otherwise you can also have food delivered as an exception.We'd love to come back.

Anyone who is vegan and has stated so must starve. There was hardly any vegan food and you have to enjoy your stay hungry if you don't have the money to buy your own food. SHAME‼️‼️

I've even stayed in comfortable rooms in youth hostels! It doesn't have to be like it is here in Müden: dusty and a bit dingy, the beds are 80 cm narrow and humiliating for adults, the interior resembles that of a prison and the food is like that.

Beautiful youth hostel in great surroundings, ideal for hikes. The hostel is suitable for groups, classes, workshops, families, etc. The staff strives to accommodate all wishes. The food is ok, just not star cuisine.

Beautiful youth hostel, modernly furnished, lovingly renovated and designed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Super helpful and nice hostel parents. Food requests will be taken into account. Only the WiFi is not equally good everywhere. Thank you for everything!
