Like some others, they stopped replying to me after I agreed to accept a voucher instead of canceling because of Corona. Been trying to make contact for 2 months. Now the email address of the employee who replied to me back then no longer exists. Calls go nowhere. That's what I call a nice rip-off! The apartment is still available for booking

I currently rent a room owned by Orbis. Before I payed the deposit they where answering my emails within 5 min. Since I payed I’ve got no more answers.I have been waiting for answers for over a month and nothing. We are 4 adults shearing a flat in which we have to shower with the door open cause the steam extractor is broken (I been reporting this since I moved in), the pipe of the kitchen sink fell down flooding the kitchen (I sent an email with pics one month before this happened, and another one to remind, and then another one when this happened… no answer), the light in the hallway is set up in a way that doesn’t work and the Orbis employee they sent told me “you have to live with it”.One of the housemates is moving out and he still doesn’t receive an answer on his emails.

Orbis Apartments lacks in communication. I have rented a property from them and there is no point of contact that responds to emails or phone calls. They just send threatening messages like "We have a new booking request for this apartment. Respond in 2 days or we will give it to another person", while ignoring all the messages that I as tenant send to them.

The apartment for rent at Potsdamer Platz is in a good location. It was the first occupancy after completion. Internet wasn't working yet, and Orbis agreed to a rent reduction I suggested. Fully equipped, but in need of improvement in many respects:- Apartment dirty when handed over (craftsmen were still walking through the apartment with their shoes on at the time of handover)- Kitchen extractor hood broken and very dirty- too little light in the bathroom (impossible to shave)- small TV with very poor reception- Curtains not shortened (may not bother some people)- otherwise the cheapest equipment you can buy at Ikea- The mattress on the bed was very thin, so I put a second mattress over it at my own expense and took it back with me after I moved out- Wardrobe much too small, additional wardrobes I had provided were allowed to remain in the apartment free of chargeInspection before renting is recommended. The apartment had to be moved out on the 14th of the month, but the billing was on the 15th, on the grounds that you could only calculate half months.

Hi AllOrbis is one of the worst at their customer service. While renting an apartment they will talk to you very politely and after renting the apartment no one will respond. I moved out from Orbis in the month of February and yet I didn't received any kind of deposit. They said it will take 8 weeks to give my deposit back but till now I didn't received a penny. I try to call them and wrote millions of emails but none of them were responded. I strongly suggest, not to rent an apartment from Orbis.

I have been with Orbis Apartments since 6 months, and I can really tell that they get the job done. I have taken internal transfer among different Orbis apartments itself, and trust me the transition had been smooth. All my concerns were also taken care whenever I quoted them over email. In short, I am a happy & satisfied customer of Orbis !

Full star number (5*+) with conviction! For a longer period of time, I enjoyed the opportunity to live in a studio of approx. 50m2 in Berlin-Tiergarten at Potsdamer Platz and always had the pleasure of working with a very professional and friendly team at Orbis Apartments. With the full star rating of 5*+, I would like to thank the entire Orbis Apartments team for their very professional, trustworthy and accommodating support over several months, which I greatly appreciate. I will be happy to use Orbis services on my next stay in Berlin and can highly recommend Orbis Apartments to anyone interested in furnished living! Best regards to Berlin :)

You get two stars because I can imagine that not all of your workers act in a highly questionable way on a human level and because your problem is primarily a structural problem: an efficient implementation of a dying, soulless mindset. “Welcome to our world,” one of your employees told me in my last phone call.- I lived in a shared apartment for more than two years where one room was simply empty. As of March 2021, three rooms will be empty. Next door, a renovated apartment has been empty for months.- When our stovetop broke, it had taken them two months to change it. Why two months? Because we did it ourselves, at our own expense, otherwise it probably would have taken longer.- We only have one mailbox key to juggle around with, just like Orbis and Co. juggle with the lives of families in the real estate market.- We were constantly reminded that they wanted us out. They tried to buy us out several times for a ridiculous price and terrorized us by viewing apartments for new potential owners (managed by Accentro, another number like that...).- Mr. Wichelmann's arrogant, paternalistic behavior was also an exciting experience. I can imagine that there is something good in him, but his heart beats not for life, but for things: the money, the profit... at the expense of the families, the workers, the students, the foreigners, the one Need an apartment where they can live.I have now got a well-equipped single apartment with a permanent main rental agreement in a good area for just €320 a month. Impossible? Well, apparently not, apparently something like that is possible.A sign of their misused potential came to light when they sent me the notice of termination and the rent arrears status certificate on the same day I ordered them.Watch out people, the world is on fire... and people are looking for sheepshead. Don't make it so easy for us.

According to Tagesspiegel (just google the company name + Tagesspiegel), it is probably a greedy landlord company that doesn't give a damn about the rent control and is only after the greatest possible profit. According to the article, real estate is acquired through so-called share deals, which also avoids the statutory real estate transfer tax. Better to rent somewhere else.
