Opposite the main station, so very centrally located. We were there by car, there is an underground car park for a fee, and there is also free parking behind the house.Rooms were ok, staff at reception and in the breakfast room were very friendly. Only 1 elevator worked, the other one is probably being renovated. Overall a recommended hotel.

The hotel met our expectations. It's right next to the train station and it should be clear to everyone. The noise level on a main road can be high, especially from trams. The rooms are rustic. Ours was clean and the beds were okay. The fan in the bathroom should be cleaned. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. One elevator is currently being renovated. The other cannot be called from the third floor, the reception takes care of this by calling.

Clear smell of mold in the bathroom. Poor soundproofing of the windows, so sleeping is only possible until the first tram.Dangerous: The elevator stopped about 10 cm below the floor. Another elevator blocked.Very outdated with an incredible backlog of renovations.Friendly staff, but hotel absolutely not recommended.

Positive: Central location directly opposite the main station, well-equipped fitness room, relatively fair prices. Neutral: the staff - some friendly and approachable, some not. Negative: The windows in all the rooms are as big as ship hatches, which means that none of the rooms are really bright with natural light (or artificial light either). The inside of the hotel has been a construction site for a long time. The aesthetics of the house are messed up inside and out in an almost award-worthy way. I know a lot of hotels, but hardly any that are uglier. Unfortunately, many rooms are very worn out and in need of renovation. Conclusion: just suitable for stays with fitness activities without any demands on beauty and style.

A most inatractive Hotel ever. All Lifts out of order, Bar closed, Lounge apart from pack of Chocolate and one warm bottle of Wine nothing else. Lounge staff hard to find. Entire building looks like being bearing down the next days.

The rooms facing the train station are very noisy due to traffic noise, which subsides late in the evening. The rooms are OK. The LED TV is a little small, but the reception is good. The cleanliness in the bathroom could be better and the usual defects, such as the shower hose and shower head holder, are apparently always included in the price range since Corona. The shower is actually a bathtub, so only for acrobats. Room cleaning only upon request. Refrigerator is available. The breakfast is very good. Parking costs €12. There is a lot of renovation going on at the moment, there is only 1 elevator available.

I paid 240 euros for 2 nights at the Hotel Achat Braunschweig and was deeply disappointed.The minibar/fridge in the room was broken, the elevator didn't work, the chips were empty, and the device for programming the room keys was also broken.My room was on the 3rd floor and every time I wanted to go in I had to climb the stairs. The key card never worked so I had to keep running back to reception. Each time I was given a new card, which also didn't work. An endless circle throughout my entire stay.No apology, no solution, not even a response to my email complaint.

Very centrally located at the main train station, the rooms were clean but somewhat. worn out and it smelled musty. Architecturally speaking, the building is a pretty ugly building. The breakfast was really great, service was good.

Quite ok for the price, rooms are clean, a bit old but practically furnished, enough space in the room, the windows are a bit small for the large room, normal-sized beds with comfortable mattresses, parking garage costs €12 per night, well located next to the train station (which you can't hear),Unfortunately in the morning there was a loud banging of the fire doors in the hallways

The room was very spacious, very clean and the beds were very comfortable!If the lights in the hallway hadn't flickered so much and the second elevator hadn't been covered with OSB, the stay would have been perfect!

unfortunatly the bed had a lot of peaks in the matrace from the springs. Just sitting, it was painful and I could sense them the entire night during sleep - everthing but comfortable.And how can the bar be closed on Sunday evenings with no alternative like a candy vending machine to get some snacks or sweets.
