The apartment was very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The 4 kids had enough space to run around and there were even 2 toilets. There is a small skate track and mini go-karts that do a few laps for 1 euro. The playground is a bit old but still works. The indoor playground is clean and offers good activities when it rains. We were able to borrow Kettcars and drove around the lake. Unfortunately there were no animals to be found in the petting zoo, which was a bit of a shame. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The holiday park has potential, the staff were nice and friendly but the rooms were dirty, spiders in every corner, the dishes weren't clean and there weren't enoughThe advertised store was empty and the swimming pool was dirty. The pictures on the homepage are from better times.

Great place. Don't expect luxury, but there is very nice service and a nice atmosphere.We are a trailer so I can't comment on the rooms.I really highly recommend it

We had a great time at Holiday Park Heidesee! The place is excellently maintained and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We were particularly impressed by the washrooms – they are not only tidy but also spacious. The fenced-in exercise area is an absolute plus point for dog owners, so we were able to let our dog run around without any worries. There are plenty of trash cans everywhere, which ensures a clean facility. The staff is super friendly and helpful at any time. Electricity and fresh water are easily accessible. We particularly enjoyed the walks around the lake – simply fantastic! We’ll definitely be back – promise! 👏😊

It's 10:30 p.m. and it's hell, dogs constantly barking, teenagers shouting loudly, and the band is still at full blast. Guess I won't be able to get an eyeful tonight. It's unbearable... I just want the night to be over!!! A traveler who wants to spend a nice weekend in the ẞüdheide hopes that things will be more civilized tomorrow at Wildwood Camping. Oh yes, I actually mentioned how much the fun cost, €62 for 2 tents, well you knew that beforehand. but not what you get for it, hell!!!! Do yourself a favor and give this campsite a wide berth!

We have been there several times now and last time we noticed that the campsite had unfortunately deteriorated.First of all, the campsite has a lot of potential, but it is far from being exploited.The lake and the outdoor pool invite you to swim and relax.The toilets and showers are getting old, which isn't a problem for us, BUT then they should also be clean. Of the 5 toilet cells, 2 were stocked with toilet paper at around 7 p.m. The snack bar located there was closed on Friday and Saturday.We will look for another campsite in the future.

I do not understand how it is allowed to post photos on such a website that do not correspond at all to reality.We were at the campsite for exactly 1 hour and got the fright of our lives.Vacation away.So much overdue maintenance, no sports or play activities and no opportunity to fish in the park.(we were told by email).Now waiting for a solution so that we can book another holiday.

There is space for a lot of campers including all connections and vacationers in holiday homes. The place prices are good. The area is very large, swimming pool with slide, large playground, a heather lake for swimming/boating, going for walks, fun sports hall, are available (certainly a lot more, we didn't see everything). Unfortunately, the large restaurant has been closed for years, meaning you always have to drive into the surrounding area to eat. The small snack stand on site has reasonable prices and good portions that taste good. But he quickly reaches his limits with several people at the same time. The place seems to be clearly showing its age and its best days are probably behind it. Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in good hands here.

It's a shame, we were there in winter and were very satisfied. Now our son was there with his family on a swimming trip and was very disappointed. The lake could not be used for an entrance fee of 14 euros; obstacle courses were played in the swimming pool with the lawnmower. The blankets couldn't be cleared away as quickly as he was there. In the indoor playroom, the beer mats first had to be removed. The kiosk that was supposed to be open was closed even though some people wanted a small snack and left disappointed. That's such a shame, especially during the peak holiday season and great weather.Why isn't such a gem being looked after, there are holidaymakers there ❓️

We spent our annual vacation there, everything looked great on the internet. When we arrived the first disillusionment!!! No internet reception. The restaurant advertised has been closed for 8 years. The snack bar only Fri.Sat.Sun. Open!! The apartment was old but functional and everything worked. The lake is clean but not ideal for swimming as the shore was very dirty. The large pool was great especially for the kids because of the water slide. In the morning the windows were shaking because grenades were being tested at Rheinmetall 🫣 and in the evening the Bundeswehr was practicing in Munster .🥴But all in all the holiday wasn't bad and the staff were always friendly and helpful!!

We stayed here for one night in our motorhome while passing through. The campsite is huge and you can choose where you want. The pitches are all equipped with electricity and water and are very large. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but clean. It seems that nothing is being invested here anymore. But it is beautiful and empty. The lake is not big but you can swim in it. There is a pool with a slide, but only my children used it. There are lots of outdoor activities and also a playground.

We were camping, and it was good that we had our own toilet and shower at our place. Electricity and water connection should be highlighted positively. It was also great that we were allowed to have a campfire. As tenants in the holiday park, we had free access to the pool, which was also great. However, the park has been neglected. The hall with volleyball courts etc. was dirty, the lake is no longer clean or attractive, there is no nicely landscaped beach. There is dirt on the bottom of the pool and the water is bitterly bitterly cold. The slide at the pool is fun. But on the stone slab floor around the pool, you can't walk without flip flops, the stone slabs hurt your feet... For the very small children there is only a large sandpit near the pool, but the pool used to be filled with water and the very little ones had fun... What a shame...All in all, I can say that you have your freedom on the pitch, but it's a shame that the facility isn't looked after well.We'll still be back next year 👍

A very nice campsite with a lot of room for improvement. The pitches are spacious and are not specified, it is very nice if you can choose your own spot. However, there is only one washhouse, which is very annoying if you have a place by the lake because it takes a good 10 minutes to walk to reach the toilet. The washrooms and shower rooms have a very strong smell, are very old and there was no soap on all 3 days we were there. You can't read the map that you get at the entrance. And the “petting zoo” hasn’t existed for years. You can only roughly see the enclosures. It's a shame because you can do a lot with this small place. There is an indoor playground and a normal playground. Everything is very old, but it is also very cheap.
