Studio flat “room 1.02” advertised as an apartment. Is boiling hot (28.c) and dry air to encourage my asthma cough at night. The sandy/dirty floor was a nice touch. I believe the hot water pipes run under the floor for the building to encourage that room to be so very cozy and hot. The fridge didn’t manage to reach a cold temperature due to the heat, switching it on at max 6. The city view is lovely on to a terrace including the fire spiral stairs and court yard of other neighbouring buildings. You also can enjoy the smokers smell outside the room when you open the window when you try to find some relief from the heat. The terrace door is only a few meters away so the morning and evening chatter can be enjoyed from the smokers. With advise from the reception we made sure the windows are closed if you leave the room due to the funny problems görlitzer park provides- you may want to google the name and be schooled about its current political interests. Crime hotspot location. No air con in the hot rooms. 1 pillow only for each bed which is enjoyed lumpy, make sure to ask for the 2nd fan at reception from the smiling receptionist. Comfort plus is for the disabled we were told at reception with a smile.The görlitzer park “görli” is a must “not” visit from the afternoon, where gatherings of the associated problem makers wait for their customers. Some are not to nice and growl/hiss at you passing. The area has associated problems.The WiFi is very poor unless you sit in reception. Our room was next to it and unless I sat on the wall we got little reception.We did immediately approach the reception regarding the ? Comfort plus photos were different to what I chose on the website when I booked. ie it was an apartment - this was a studio flat for the disabled. Funny another couple had the same experience. I was told we are only 2 people. The apartments are for 4. I was told it was marathon weekend ie more expensive - I could see by the attitude there was no reasoning or assistance with our problem, including the heat problem. Especially with the excuse that the weather had been hot - no it was about average 20-22c. We boiled for 5 days in that room and they know it is hot in there. With the payment none refundable at €798 for 5 nights. We could have stayed in a hotel in the centre even during the marathon weekend. With the reception attitude it was obvious they pull this one off frequently so the minor problems we had with the room we did not bother, giving them another minute of our time. Ie you have a leaking sink and your fancy plug in the bathroom sink, has no use- doesn’t work.

Room number 1.1 is large, but faces a busy street. No air conditioning. With the windows closed it was 32 degrees in the room, with the windows open it was impossible to sleep because it was so loud. From 06.00, trucks, garbage trucks, etc.

Clean and renovated but rooms very stuffy and warm in summer. Also very loud when the front room faces the street.

Perfectly located in the young neighborhood of the city of Berlin, Kreuzberg. Next to Gorlitzer Park. Apartments very well equipped with everything you need to sleep, cook, wash clothes, etc... and very clean. The staff's attention is also very good, they facilitate access even with the reception closed. Highly recommended especially for the good location, it is not the center but it is the area with the most atmosphere in Berlin.

There is nothing missing in the hotel room, but for this price you can find something better, and certainly bigger. There is a park nearby where everyone will find something for themselves :)

if things break due to poor maintenance, they blame the visitor. Even if you use stuff in a way it was made for. I don't recommend to go here.

Accommodation was fine, location was great. Service very poor: We rented bicycles that broke down one by one. Ultimately, three of the six bicycles were destroyed. Parts have fallen off the bicycles. The bicycle repair man indicated that it is dangerous to hand over bicycles in this condition. The gentleman from the accommodation apologized and indicated that we would get our money back. To our surprise, the woman at check-out indicated that it was our fault that the bikes were broken and that we would not get our money back. She was very unfriendly and incomprehensible. I then emailed about this after our trip. There has been no further response to this. We won't be coming back here again.
