We were guests there again and again and found the house to be hospitable and in a great location. A renovation would be in order inside. All of this is a bit out of date. The food is accordingly. It's delicious. Unfortunately, we have also experienced that some things are no longer restocked at the lunch buffet on the weekend. Which is a shame, because there are also guests who only come for lunch and don't take part in the whole brunch beforehand. Therefore, three stars for the nice service and the area.

Very nice atmosphere in the house and very comfortably furnished. We were in the house for breakfast. Good selection of different dishes for breakfast, English breakfast, Mediterranean cuisine, salads, ... we missed yoghurt, fresh fruit and more selection of juices at breakfast. Otherwise everything was great. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Buffet small but nice and far more than sufficient. The style is certainly not modern, but it fits and is good. Clean and friendly, fair prices

We were there at Christmas and ate from the evening buffet (5 p.m. - 10 p.m.). We had booked a table for 7:30 p.m. (this would not have been necessary as there were not many guests there). We were at the buffet for the first time at 7:50 p.m. There were enough soups and starters. However, there were only small leftovers of sauerbraten and roast venison left (over 2 hours before the end of the buffet) and contrary to the kitchen staff's promise, these were no longer refilled. The grill plate (in my opinion does not belong on a buffet, unless as a live cocking station), the guinea fowl and the goose legs no longer looked appetizing, as they had probably been on the buffet for far too long and were therefore probably not eaten by the other guests more accepted. The salad buffet was also rather spartan and when we had finished eating and wanted to get some dessert, there was also a rather spartan selection there (canned fruit salad, chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, stollen, Danube wave and cherry jelly). Reduced again for a dessert buffet at Christmas, chocolate mousse and Danube wave were sold out and were also no longer refilled about 1 hour before the end of the buffet. What was still there was okay in terms of taste, but the price-performance ratio was rather weak.

So I'm sorry, but the food was just bad. And then to the price. That doesn't work at all!
