Great hotel with a fitting Berlin flair!The area is great and the hotel speaks for Berlin. Gladly again!Particularly noteworthy: Maike sat at the reception and gave us a very warm welcome. The service from her was 10/10!

Employees super happy.Looking for a train connection.Breakfast perfect!2 things that weren't so good.Shower urgently needs to be renovated.On the day I was in Berlin it was very cold. I came into my room around 10 p.m. and the window was completely OPEN. Not nice.

Wonderfully quiet room, nice breakfast, very very courteous staff. A small downside: the "rim killers" in the gate to the parking lot in the yard. Flex on it and everything is fantastic. See you soon!

A quiet little hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. There are plenty of different restaurants in the surroundings. Good connections in all directions, Nearest public transport stops U-Hermannplatz, U-Schönleinstraße and bus stops next to Hermannplatz underground station.

nice, cute hotel in the middle of Kreuzberg. Spent two nights here for the concert at the Columbia Theater and enjoyed some Kreuzberg. The guys there are very cool, helpful and friendly. Have good tips for the day and always a nice saying.The room was cozy and clean and the breakfast was lovingly prepared.We would love to come back.

I stayed here earlier this month for an extended trip to Berlin and was very happy with hotel and the cost of the room.The room was basic but clean, the location is excellent - plenty of places to eat, and lots of really nice bars, in a short walking distance. The hotel is very close to the U-Bahn so getting around Berlin is very easy.The staff were extremely friendly, I did not need their help as it was not my first time in Berlin but they struck me as people who would be more than willing to help if needed.Overall, if you are just looking for a bed in a clean place that has an excellent location stay here. This hotel will be top of my list the next time I visit Berlin.Just a small, constructive suggestion for the owner: do not disturb signs would be very useful for the rooms.

The hotel is very well connected and the price-performance ratio is good. There is no elevator, but our suitcases were carried up and down. The bathroom is small and the rooms are not the newest, but for the price it is completely sufficient. We'd love to come back :)

Last month I was in Berlin on business and stayed at the Hotel am Hermannplatz. I can recommend this hotel to anyone on their Berlin trip who is looking for good value for money and at the same time wants to stay centrally in the city. The hotel is located in the middle of an old residential building in which the hotel rooms are on 2 floors. I had a room on the 2nd floor, on the quieter side of the courtyard and found it to be completely sufficient in size for me. The bed was exceptionally large for a single room at 160x200. The room's furnishings were a bit outdated, but that didn't bother me personally as I was out and about in the city all day.The staff were all super friendly and the breakfast with fresh rolls, cheese/sausage platter and coffee was perfect as a first boost to start the day.Due to the small size of the family-run hotel, like the previous speakers, you can actually speak of a certain charm compared to the large hotel chains.I will definitely stay at the Hotel am Hermannplatz again on my next stay in Berlin.

A pleasant, practical and good alternative for a low-budget stay in Berlin/Kreuzberg. Very pleasant, friendly and solution-oriented host. Decent and good breakfast that gives a good start to the day. Own bathroom was a bit cramped, but clean and okay enough. My room faced the street and there was a bit of noise there (the New Year's celebration can be heard well in Berlin), but the rooms facing the backyard were perfectly fine according to my fellow travellers. Firm and good bed.

The hotel itself is fine, the two people at the counter were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, I had a room facing the street, which made it quite noisy and there was hardly any fresh air. I was able to park for free in the courtyard, where the car is safely fenced in, BUT the access is extremely narrow. With my VW Golf 7 I only had a few centimeters of space left and right. I inched my way through the driveway. Very unpleasant, I wouldn't have done it a second time. Then it's better to park on the street. Overall everything was ok, but the price was quite high for what was on offer at over €80/night.

The hotel is located in a residential building. There are two floors of the house. So you rent a room in the residential building on one of the “hotel floors”. However, each room has its own bathroom. It is relatively loud towards the street, but quiet towards the inner courtyard.Advantages:Location, easy to reach everything. Many Turkish and Arabic restaurants and rustic pubs in the immediate vicinity.Free parking spaces in the locked courtyard.The staff, especially the owner, is unbeatably friendly. If you're looking for something personal, you've come to the right place.Breakfast is lovingly served at the table.Tip: don't book via portals, just call.Disadvantage: relatively small bathroom with old shower, but that should be improved soon.

As part of a business trip, I spent two nights in the Hotel am Hermannplatz and was absolutely thrilled. The room was large and spacious, everything was sparkling clean, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. An excellent hotel!
