Carriage ride and meal booked. Carriage ride for 4 was too expensive for my taste. I was quoted a different price when booking... Coach driver was very nice and told us a lot about the surrounding area. We didn't like the food that much...unfortunately. Ambiance old and not to our taste. Service friendly but very briskPrice performance doesn't fit

I can't rate the rooms because we were there with a group of 20 for dinner and a carriage ride! A typical German restaurant with game, fish, beef and pork dishes. Most loved their menu, the portions were good and the price was reasonable!! The service was super nice and, above all, in a very good mood. You feel welcome!! The carriage ride...well, since we had a covered wagon in which you sat on the side, you always had to turn around to see nature. But the children at the front of the coachman had a good time, squeezing the poor man to the side and chatting his ears off 🤣🤣 . The two horses had a lot to do and were well looked after in the stable afterwards.The parking space in front of the hotel is a bit tight, if you park cars there you have to go onto the street. Not such a nice thing with children. Maybe there should be signs there that there is more than enough parking space next to the building!

The horses have to stand in the blazing midday sun at 30 degrees during their short break from the carriage ride.Sweat was running down my leg, but there was no water.Yes, yes, back then horses had to do completely different work, but who says that wasn't also against protection?! There is also the possibility of moving from shaded areas or trips to the early evening on hot days.

Great price-performance ratio.But what I liked best was the natural friendliness in the “Hamburger Schnack”. Complete without being slimy. We arrived late in the evening on our bikes and even though the kitchen was already closed, they whipped up something simple for us.The breakfast was plentiful, but I would have liked more vegetarian and vegan options.Overall, this accommodation is an absolute recommendation.Especially since the beautiful heath in the Südheide (Misselhorner Heide) was impressive and not overcrowded.Many thanks to the Misselhorner Hof team. We will come back.

10.2023 - Thank you for the really nice weekend - just get out and let everyday life be everyday life - it worked great - overnight stay was cheap, quiet and absolutely fine - breakfast with a buffet was TOP - restaurant in the evening was super delicious!! - and the owners are simply unbeatable!! They always make you feel comfortable. As I said, just THANK YOU for the lovely weekend!!07.2024 - Had a delicious meal again in the evening!! And again we had the feeling that we weren't here for the last time! Cozy! Yummy! Good! Enough! FED UP!!It was nice again! See you next time! ;-)

Very nice, rustic hotel with an attached riding stable and restaurant. The room was clean and well maintained, but still in the old style. Breakfast was more than sufficient and I was able to borrow a hairdryer upon request.The dinner in the restaurant was very tasty and a decent portion.Service very friendly and attentive.You can also book carriage rides through the heath on site. You can also travel with a horse; boxes are available to rent.

Very friendly staff and very good cuisine. The boss is also super nice. Covered wagon rides, carriage rides through the middle of the heath, and carriage driving licenses are possible there. Everything is really very familiar. Highly recommended, the hotel is located directly on the Misselhorner Heide.

It is the inns far out there, just behind the town sign of a small town, that give you the most amazing experiences.There was an invitation to a family celebration, and there was NOTHING to complain about either the food or the service - although (due to a lack of staff) only two people served (and one of them was the manager of the shop...)Can you complain? Sure, always: The fried or stewed potatoes were a little too seasoned (for me). But okay... with 4 courses where the potatoes were a small part of the 3rd course, you can probably cope with that...A nice day (And by the way, I need my pants at least a size larger from tomorrow....)

Absolutely recommended! It was my first time there as a club and it was great! Now with the family for a schnitzel feast, even though they weren't currently on the menu. Totally flexible host with a lot of humor and great cuisine!!! If you can, you should stop by there!! The prices are really reasonable too!!

We had an arrangement for €157 (2 nights). On the first evening there was a cold game platter with bread and fried potatoes and wild mushrooms. It was tasteful. On the second evening there was a 4-course menu. That was also very tasty. There was also a carriage ride. The coachwoman Marina led us through the forests and heath for 2 hours. She explained a lot. We were very impressed. We really liked it at the Misselhorner Hof. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was ok. The house is very old, but there is a certain coziness there and it is clean. We will definitely come back.
