So schnitzel with mushrooms is top notch, even though the mushrooms are already on the schnitzel, the breading is still crispy and light, respect!!!! 👍👍👍 Burgers, friends also say it's very good, 👍👍👍 recommended. The restaurant was just great! From the atmosphere to the service to the food – everything was perfect. The dishes were fresh, creatively prepared and tasted of a high standard. Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service, which made our evening even more pleasant. You can tell that a lot of value is placed on quality and hospitality here. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

I was able to eat the worst grilled dish of my life here. Classically with ketchup and mayo, the cheapest bratwursts were served here together with “chicken steak” and meat skewers with fries. Grilled vegetables are also available if they are not forgotten like we are. It was submitted later, but it wouldn't have been necessary. A very bad experience for the quantity and quality at a price of €50.

We were passing through and spontaneously stopped here to grab something to eat. We were very surprised. The kitchen is manageable but damn tasty 👍.Overall, a small, idyllic restaurant where you immediately feel welcome.Keep it up!!!

I stayed overnight here on the way to the Baltic Sea. Friendly, nice staff, good food in the evening, unfortunately the room wasn't ideal. Disturbing loud gurgling noises from water and heating pipes could be heard and spoiled the night's sleep.

We were there with our dog for a planned night on the Heidschnuckenweg and spontaneously extended it by one night. We liked the room. The food was delicious. The service good. A young, dynamic management is something you rarely have these days. The breakfast was okay.

We stayed overnight and ate in the evening at the Gasthaus zur Riete during our hike on the Heidschnuckenweg.The accommodation is in a very quiet location, the few unrenovated rooms are completely sufficient, and the beds are comfortable. The renovated rooms are modern and lovingly designed. The quality of the breakfast was far above average and particularly outstanding for this rather small location. There were also delicious scrambled eggs 😋The dinner was great, both the vegetarian items and the burgers.The best thing about the accommodation, however, is the friendliness of the staff and the service spirit of each and every one!By the way, stamps for the Heidschnucken hiking pass are also available here.

We were here for dinner today. We were very excited. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. We had pork belly with mashed potatoes and cheese brarwurst with sauerkraut, homemade horseradish and also mashed potatoes. For dessert there were pancakes.The welcome and hospitality was also very warm and pleasant.Unfortunately our vacation is already over, otherwise we would definitely come again. Totally recommended, in the morning and in the evening! We have had breakfast there several times now and also enjoyed the warm cuisine in the evening. It's delicious every time! The breakfast is plentiful and I think that if, as an exception, you have to wait a short time for coffee or something else, that just shows that it is always freshly replenished. The scrambled eggs, as well as the others on offer, are always freshly made and served warm.😊👍 I'm wondering why some people have something to complain about?!🙄💁♀️The menu has something for everyone, the portion is absolutely filling, tastes great and in terms of price I can only say, tip top 👍 👍The staff is courteous, very nice and super friendly! Stay as you are. 👍🫶 You won't be able to get rid of us 😉😋

Really good! Individually customizable. Friendly, competent service. - We ate at the Gasthaus zur Riete this evening: fried chicken breast and Shopski salad with chicken strips. Our wishes regarding the side dishes were easily fulfilled, with crispy fried wedges and homemade mashed potatoes. The food came quickly and was well seasoned, it tasted delicious and freshly prepared. At the end, the friendly restaurant manager offered us two special, excellent desserts that were not on the menu: a blueberry mascapone cream and a blueberry cake. - What started as a stopgap measure (our hotel didn't offer any service that evening) turned out to be a real surprise. We will definitely dine at the Riete more often.
