They apparently only clean the rooms after you check in.We booked a private room and bath for 2 nights here. The bedding was soiled upon our arrival and there was hair all over in the shower. There were also items left behind from previous tenants on the nightstand. We reached out to the number provided to ask to either change rooms or clean the room, and they were very rude.There are better accommodations in Piding. Don't stay here.

Clear recommendation. I needed a room at Erberbauer at short notice and got it at a really fair price. Overall, I think the location of the hotel is quite good, as it is within walking distance to the train station, which can be used to quickly reach Bad Reichenhall. On the other hand, the main road is not far away, so it's ok even with a car. Generally good planning situation for activities in the region. Otherwise the room was functionally furnished and clean. Balcony with mountain views. I thought breakfast was really great, there was something for every taste and there was more than enough available. The operators are also super friendly. For me it was a complete success and therefore an absolute recommendation. I'll definitely come again.

I was passing through and needed a room at short notice for one night at a reasonable price. I found this in the Pension Erberbauer. The operators were super nice and uncomplicated, even because I arrived outside the specified times. I had a small, cozy room that was clean and functional. The bed was comfortable but could be a bit bigger 90x200.Parking was possible without any problems directly at the guesthouse. However, since it is in a quiet settlement, you should never have a problem here. Breakfast was premium. Something of everything and for everyone.Highly recommended for an overnight stay.

I had a small, cozy room, clean and functionally furnished. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom could be a bit bigger. Nearby Rewe and Burger King, access and parking are easy. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely book a room there on my next trip.

Dear new Erberbauer team!I was employed by the previous operator, Christian, from June 2021 - October 2023. During this time I tried, with little resources, to turn the previously very run-down and not particularly clean (probably due to lack of time) guesthouse into a nice temporary home for the guests , with cozy farm furniture that I painstakingly put together, beautiful mountain pictures that I photographed and put on canvas, new self-sewn curtains and pillows in the dining room and rooms, matching bed linen...I'm so pleased that some of the furniture and decoration "lives on" so to speak - that would certainly also be in the spirit of the previous owner, Christian.Thank you dear new operators, and good luck and all the best to you 👍

OUTSTANDING HOTEL WITH NEW OWNERS. COMPLETELY RENOVATED AND RENOVATED!Also biker friendlyI was traveling by motorbike and was looking for a cheap place to stay overnight with breakfast. After I called, I was kindly informed that a room was available and asked if I needed breakfast earlier or had any other special requests. Everything is super nice!When I arrived I was greeted with a welcome drink and the owner offered to leave my motorbike in the garage as it was supposed to rain at night. Everything is brand new, but the biggest highlight is the warm, homey feeling and the constant availability of the two young owners, who feel like they work 24/7.A special plus is the garden, from which you can see the mountains in the background. If you wish, the owners can set up a campfire there, which creates a very cozy atmosphere.A truly outstanding hotel with great service! Unfortunately it still suffers from the old reviews from the previous owner, but that has definitely changed and I will come here again.

By chance we got stranded in Piding with a car breakdown and passed the guesthouse while looking for accommodation. A quick call, 5 minutes later we were in our guesthouse room. Large room, everything clean and super uncomplicated. The next morning we started the day with the optionally booked sumptuous and lovingly prepared breakfast and a very friendly and helpful host. Gladly again at any time! Thank you again!!

The guesthouse was so cozy and had such a hospitable, friendly staff that you almost felt at home 🤗I had a small, nice single room, but everything was neat and clean and everything you needed was there. There was even a table with an armchair and a TV in the small room. I was positively surprised by my welcome check, plus a current printed newspaper article about the weather and events around Piding... I've never had anything like that, especially in a guesthouse!👍👍👍The only thing I could complain about would be the mattress of the bed...it was a bit older and already had an indentation....😬But otherwise:Location... top👍... ideal for all athletes... you can either go on a bike tour directly from there or be at the foot of a mountain in just a few minutes. Fantastic area and if the weather doesn't cooperate, Salzburg is just a stone's throw away.Breakfast was also great, more than you could eat and everything was fresh. Was really blown away!!! Feel free to come back 🙌

We spent one night here.The beds are comfortable and have a firmer mattress. Unfortunately, there were no blinds or curtains in our room that didn't completely black out, which makes the night very short in summer and you're quickly woken up by the sun. The rooms are noisy.The breakfast served is ok. We had rolls, bread, jam, honey, various cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt and fresh eggs. Water and juice are available upon request. The coffee is good. For one night and the location is sufficient.

Very nice host. Rooms are good, clean, big. WiFi and TV worked perfectly. Bathroom/toilet clean and ok. 3 stars only for the room because the bed was too low with a bad mattress. Otherwise I would have given it 4 stars.The criticism of the bed should be understood constructively.I recommend the guesthouse. Ask about a good mattress
