Pension Lex Hotel

Because of the landlady's response to Charlotte Rosa's recent review, I would now like to speak out as someone indirectly affected.It is absolutely out of the question to tie up such an aggressive dog with an extremely long leash on the lawn of a guesthouse, where there are obviously deck chairs set up for guests. In my opinion this is grossly negligent. There was also no indication of the “vicious watchdog” motto. Something like this is completely unacceptable in a public area of ​​a guesthouse. Trying to blame the animal's instincts is bad form, especially since the lady attacked is very experienced in dealing with dogs.Overall, the holiday mood was badly dampened because of this incident and the tone in general. Extremely annoying!As for the ghost watching TV: It would be more likely that your room service took a break from watching TV and then left it on. It shouldn't actually happen. Other landlords would apologize. As a guest, you could ignore some of the unusually long list if you really felt like you were being treated as hospitable. But neither of us had that impression! That's why we even left a day earlier. That actually says it all!

The tone of the guest and therefore the atmosphere in this accommodation is catastrophic!!- On the morning of my arrival I was cynically laughed at by the hostess at the buffet because I hadn't found the breakfast room straight away.- In a snappy, commanding tone, we were quickly given instructions on which cups and dishes we should use and how.- Shortly afterwards I was shouted at because I had brought the "wrong" gift to the table.- My travel companion's request for another table because there was no backrest was harshly rejected, even though there were seats at other tables.Aggressive house dog: In front of the house there is a lawn and loungers for guests. As I walked out onto the lawn towards the loungers, the extremely aggressive house dog raced towards me, barking and baring his teeth, and tried to bite me. I was happy to escape. The dog was leashed to the tree on the meadow with an approx. 8 meter (!) long leash, so that he could have attacked almost any guest who was on the meadow!!When we returned to the hotel late in the evening, we looked up from the outside of the room and noticed that the light in my room was flickering, which really worried us. When we unlocked the room we heard voices coming from the room! There was a TV on in my room! So someone must have been watching TV in my room while I was away!Departure day (other guests had already left): The heating in my room was turned off in the morning, the bathroom and the room were ice cold.The heating was also turned off in the breakfast room and everyone eating breakfast was freezing.Rooms: some things are dilapidated: by no means adequate for 4 stars!Bathroom hadn't been cleaned in the morning.My companion's television remote control didn't workLamp flickered and had a loose connectionTV cable had loose contact. You had to constantly "shake" it to create an image.Shower cubicle: One side could not be closed --> flooding in the bathroom.All in all a disaster. The terrible atmosphere in this house really dampened our spirits and we left a day early. Never again!

A hotel like we wanted for this area. Free parking; excellent breakfast; nice rooms with toilet and shower; Country house style ambience; friendly owner; a few minutes to the nearest beer garden and town center; with the spa card, free travel on buses and trains through the Berchtesgadener Land and to Salzburg; Bus stop 20 m from the hotel. We would love to come back...

We have now been to Pension Lex for the third time.Uncomplicated check-in. We are passing through and this guesthouse is great even for one night. Rustic and lovingly furnished. Everything is very clean. You have everything you need.Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. and is offered as a buffet. There is plenty of rolls, bread, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, drinks etc.I can fully recommend this guesthouse.The boss is very attentive and nice

We have been here twice now and would love to come back.Very well located as a starting point for activities around Bad Reichenhall.We love the charm of old farmhouses because it is something different from a sterile hotel, the rooms have charm and could tell many stories.Breakfast is rich and has a good selection.The boss is a very nice person with a lot of humor and charm.Gladly again.

We always enjoy coming here.The guesthouse is clean and quiet but you can reach the city in a short time, whether by bike or by bus (stop directly opposite) in two minutes.The Pension Wirtin tries very hard and takes the holiday stay to another level.Whether it's breakfast or questions, she does everything out of love for her job.This is what a vacation can be like.

Room was great. Very nice and helpful hostess. Breakfast was very rich in selection, there was really nothing missing. My dog ​​was also very welcome. I will definitely book again, highly recommended.
