Very nicely located campsite with direct access to the lake. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not clean and the busy road above the lake is very loud.

I recommend this campsite which is super well located on the banks of the Titisee 👍 The sanitary facilities are clean and the welcome is warm. Plus the bus is free 🙂

When we wanted to check out, we were going to do it around half past twelve, but there was a very long queue so they had to wait. We were advised to pay later. And when we checked out around 3 o'clock the tent was long gone, we were told that we also had to pay for the next night. We said that was not correct and suddenly he took out a sign behind a plant that said pay extra after 1 hour. night, firstly, I can't speak German and secondly, I didn't see the sign, this campsite is strongly discouraged

The experience I had in this place was dramatic. On the first day, a very friendly employee was able to lend me table tennis bats.On the second day I looked for discounts on regional transport. When I asked, I was told that this was possible, but that a form would have to be filled out. The form was very complex to design. The campsite owner can't do anything about that because it was designed by an authority or someone else. However, it would be expected that assistance would be offered to the paying customer. Unfortunately this was not the case. Further questions were answered in an unfriendly manner, and when we handed in the form, we as a group of young people were treated derogatorily and referred to as “secondary school students”. This is not only a disparagement of all secondary school students and discrimination against this group of students, but also disgraceful towards us, as we were not able to fill out a complex form perfectly and without errors straight away. After we reacted with indignation to this term, the employee suddenly became very friendly.Otherwise the campsite is relatively standard. The pitches are neither particularly good nor bad. The sanitary facilities are too small for the number of people, so the floor is a bit dirty, but that's not really a problem. It is a typical campsite with a nice location, however the entire experience is marred by the unfriendly service of the individual staff member.I hope that this employee is let go and the friendly employee from the day before takes over this role. The unfriendly employee also seemed overworked. He interrupted conversations to serve other customers because he was overwhelmed by the number of customers waiting. Maybe more staff could be hired.

This is a gem of a site. On the banks of lake Titisee. Really clean with immaculate facilities. We swam every day in the lake. The town of Titisee very touristy but well worth a visit. Free rail pass from reception so we went to Freiburg on the train, using the bus to get to the station and we didn’t have to pay for any travel!

Nice campsite. I like it here. I don't need luxury. You can fish right on site, which is very nice for anglers.

Our holiday at the Weiherhof nature campsite on Titisee was simply fantastic. The course is located directly on the banks of Lake Titisee, surrounded by dense forests and beautiful nature. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake, canoeing and trying out stand-up paddling - our kids especially loved it!The campsite is well maintained and the pitches are spacious and ideal for tents and caravans. The sanitary facilities were always clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they really tried to make us feel comfortable. For us as nature lovers the place was simply perfect. We went on long hikes and bike rides through the beautiful Black Forest landscape. We also liked the nearby town of Titisee-Neustadt with its nice cafes, restaurants and shopping opportunities. We had a great time and can only recommend the Weiherhof nature campsite on Titisee to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday in nature. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
