We, family of 4 stayed here last April for 1 week. Everything in this place has a touch of love. Andrea and Robert, a very lovely couple were very nice and helpful. Robert was very nice to us and even played football with the kids. Andrea prepared us fancy and healthy breakfast everyday. She also helped us find nice restaurants and booked reservations and gave us tips about nice places to visit. My kids still remember them until now. Thank you very much, Andrea and Robert for the very nice accommodation. We will definitely come back. Cheers to both of you!

You can't live a bed and breakfast concept better or more individually. In the Hollhouse you get a breakfast served by the owner Andrea that is second to none; all fresh ingredients, either directly from the Black Forest or from Italy or France. It's not just served to you, everything is also explained. Bread and rolls are always freshly baked. Homemade fruit or vegetable salads, cakes and crumbles were an additional surprise and variety.The accommodation is suitable for the region and the house itself. Everything is stylish and shows that the operators put their hearts into it. In the room we were greeted with a map, fresh fruit and homemade muffins. Coffee and tea were available at all times. The minibar in the fridge has something for everyone and the prices are reasonable.The local knowledge of the hosts Andrea and Robert helps with day trips (whether a hike or a drive). If desired, reservations can be made for dinner in restaurants that the hosts have tried themselves and can recommend. Here we were thrilled anew every evening.

The stay at Hollhouse Bed Breakfast was unforgettable and unique. A little gem in the middle of the Black Forest. The hosts Andrea and Robert are very warm-hearted and open-minded. We felt not only as guests, but also as friends (also their slogan: Come as guests and leave as friends). The accommodation is furnished with love down to the last detail. The breakfast was pure luxury every day. We came to our Black Forest vacation a little unprepared. However, Andrea was able to give us great excursion tips every day and she also organized restaurant visits for us. That was super helpful and it got us into the holiday mood really quickly. We will come back in any case.

The Hollhouse in Hinterzarten - a true gem for everyone who is drawn to comfortable living in the beautiful Black Forest and to the extremely friendly, charming hosts Andrea and Robert, who still live true hospitality and share their joy in the extraordinary in a private atmosphere.We spent a weekend in July in the Tannensuite, a lovely, tastefully furnished maisonette apartment on the first floor that really leaves nothing to be desired with a spacious balcony and picturesque all-round views.The welcome was overwhelmingly warm and very personal, the morning breakfast was pure enjoyment (e.g. homemade bread, homemade jams, caramelized tomatoes, grilled zucchini, a variety of selected products from surrounding farms), the recommendations for hiking tours were top notch. It was more than difficult for us to say goodbye..... absolutely appropriate, hence the house's motto:"Come as strangers - leave as joy". We will be back !

We really enjoyed our second stay in June 2020 (we were there in 2019). Andrea and Robert are still there for the guests a year later. The already fabulous offer has become even more sophisticated. Don't give anything away, let yourself be surprised, especially by the unsurpassed breakfast, which varies seasonally and also includes home-made food. Bring time to enjoy. You will be pampered through and through. Here you can tell that passion and passion are at play, that they both enjoy doing it.If you want, you will be "integrated" into the family, but you will also be respected if you only use the "service" and stay on your own - we chose the former :-) - it is so much nicer , because both of them are REALLY interested in getting to know the guest.The house is very tastefully decorated and maintained. It was our second stay at Hollhouse with our two kids (3 months and 2years old) and it was even better than the first. Andrea and Robert are fantastic hosts. They helped us planning our days en looking foor good places tobeat. And it is a beautifull place if you like walking, a d relaxing!

Our stay for two nights shortly before Christmas Eve 2019 was simply fantastic! The hosts Andrea and Robert are incomparable and you feel incredibly comfortable with them.We also particularly enjoyed the breakfast.This was definitely not our last vacation with the two of them.

Staying at HollHouse completely changed our minds about holiday accommodations. We're both big friends of small individual places. We have never experienced this level of friendlyness, warmth, service and overall quality. The hosts treat their guest as if they were friends. We felt as friends in their place. Their breakfast is unbelievably good. Little surprises and a food quality and variation without comparism. Already before the arrival at HollHouse one is asked for special wishes and intolerances and in the end simply every imagination is outmatched by far. The hosts provide very useful information about restaurants and leisure activities nearby. If I could assign more stars or emoticons with wider smiles I would do this here.Thank you very much HollHouse for the most pleasant and relaxing stay we were yet able to experience.Unser Aufenthalt im HollHouse hat unsere Weltsicht auf Urlaubsunterkünfte komplett aus der Bahn geworfen. Wir sind beide große Freunde von kleinen, individuellen Unterkünften. Noch nie haben wir irgendwo ein solch hohes Niveau an Freundlichkeit, Wärme, Service und Qualität im Allgemeinen erfahren dürfen. Die Gastgeber behandeln Ihre Gäste wie gute Freunde. Wir haben uns bei Ihnen wie gute Freunde gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist unbeschreiblich gut. Kreative Überraschungen und eine Qualität der angebotenen Speisen, die Ihresgleichen sucht. Schon im Vorfeld der Reise wird nach besonderen Wünschen oder Unverträglichkeiten gefragt und am Ende werden alle Vorstellungen noch einmal komplett übertroffen. Man bekommt von den Gastgebern sehr wertvolle Tipps zu Restaurants und möglichen Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Wenn ich hier mehr Sterne vergeben oder noch breiter grinsende Emoticons vergeben könnte, würde ich dies hier tun. Vielen Dank liebes HollHouse für den schönsten und entspanntesten Aufenthalt, den wir je genießen durften.Wenn sich die Gelegenheit bietet kommen wir auf jedenfall wieder.

The Hollhouse is a true gem in the beautiful Black Forest! When traveling, we have rarely had the opportunity to meet such warm-hearted hosts as the Holl family. The warm-heartedness of Andrea and Robert is also reflected throughout the entire house. So much attention to detail and cleanliness in all rooms. The guesthouse is a real home! The highlight is the very tasty breakfast, which really leaves nothing to be desired! In winter, the sauna in the house is also recommended! It's great that such accommodations exist!

It was a special way how personal and warm-hearted the email correspondence was in advance. The special reception with coffee and cake and the varied daily breakfast left us with a positive impression. The welcoming culture experienced also made the stay with Andrea and Robert unforgettable.Now to the points that, in our opinion, still need improvement:- There are no hanging options (hooks) for clothes in the room; Mattress (spring core) no longer meets today's standards; 2 instead of one blanket would make sense; The seating options assigned to the room are too soft and cause an unstable sitting position. Unfortunately, because we have problems with our spine, we couldn't use it.We would like to thank our “special hosts” for the wonderful time with them and wish all future guests equally positive experiences.

Small, very fine bed and breakfast with caring hosts. Located right on the edge of the forest, with a spacious terrace, beautiful garden, sauna and house cat. The typical Black Forest house is harmoniously and modernly furnished, breakfast is tailored to the guest's preferences and is taken at the large breakfast table in the living room, where you can meet the residents of the other room and exchange experiences and experiences.
