The rooms were simple but not bad.The breakfast and dinner were really good, it consisted of fresh rolls and chocolate cream as well as butter, sausage and cheese with a large selection of muesli. There was cocoa and orange juice to drink.In the evening, however, we grilled and served grilled cheese, bratwurst and pork steaks. There was also a large selection of sauces.In the evening there was also a small salad bar with dressing.The location of the hut is very nice and there were some via ferratas nearby.

I was there with my whole year group a few weeks ago, and from the moment we arrived we wanted to go home. The first impression of our room was that it was small, dark, watery and simply dirty (there were pubic hairs in front of the shower). Because of the smell, we asked one of our teachers that we could get another room, and our luck was there a room available. The room was better but it smelled of mold, was full of bugs and spiders and was very dusty. On our last day we had a total of 10 silverfish in our bed and on our walls. Another thing that is unfair in my opinion is the price, because the south wing is in better condition than in the main building. There isn't much positive to say about the food because in addition to hair, there were silverfish and beetles in our food. The staff was also very unfriendly (when my friend said meat instead of steak, she was very insulted). Most of the programs were great not as much as some of the teamers. There was a man who gave the girls nicknames like sweet or little. He also said a lot of misogynistic things. So I can say from my side and that of my classmates that we never want to come back and we are happy to be back home.

Disappointing experience with lack of professionalismReview: Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience with this accommodation. Despite multiple requests, we were not sent a reservation confirmation. We were left in the dark for over three weeks until we were finally informed one day before our scheduled arrival that our booking could not be maintained. This last-minute cancellation by the owner, which I found to be very outrageous, presented us with an enormous challenge: we had to find new accommodation for eight people within a few hours. Not only did this incident significantly disrupt our travel plans, but it also caused unnecessary stress. I can only hope that more emphasis is placed on customer service and reliability in the future.

We were there ourselves as part of an alpine training course. You can immediately tell that the owner spent a lot of time in the mountains; he managed to bring the alpine flair into his home. Our rooms were simple and clean, the area was imaginatively and variedly designed, many options from table football to table tennis, fitness room, fireplace, etc.The little huts in the style of a bivouac box are great, I would gladly let my children spend the night there immediately, what an adventure and even our young generation, somewhat wrapped in cotton wool, should be able to do it without being thrown off course by a spider in the corner to become...what could be better than to humble yourself for a day or two, experience adventures and look forward to being back at home with new horizons?The food is sufficient and simple, Manfred Salcher is great, unfortunately some requests from the other people who looked after us guests were not answered very friendly and certainly not fulfilled, but a friendly word often helps...Otherwise we were completely satisfied…

Location not bad if you want to go hiking but that's the only thing that's good. My daughter was there one night. Rooms dusty, cobwebs and just dirty. Shower right in the room with glass panels and they weren't even clean. The toilets in the basement are just rancid.

My daughter was there for 3 days. She was so happy that she was allowed to go home again. The rooms were dirty, full of cobwebs, beetles and ants. Toilets smelled. Food wasn't special. She never wants to go there again.

Very cute cottage with very nice surroundings. Unfortunately, the rooms in the basement are badly rotten and very dirty, the showers are in the middle of the room and some are broken. The four rooms on the first floor are far too small and the mattresses and blankets are very dirty. Very nice decor and good food!

Today we went to the Jura Alpin adventure center to borrow via ferrata sets. We had called shortly before. Renting it was no problem and we were able to do the Bambini via ferrata with our 7-year-old son with the equipment. The boss and his wife are in a good mood and very friendly. We would always use the great service there. Thank you!

A great pre-booked class trip to the children's via ferrata with mountain guides (flat rate).A few reviews from the children:"I found it very nice that the mountain guides helped every child and I had a lot of fun climbing. I was able to overcome my fear a bit.""I really enjoyed it and felt confident with the equipment.""The mountain guides were so nice. I'll be back.""I felt very safe with the equipment. We were even allowed to give the mountain guides nicknames.""It was very nice. At the beginning we were beginners, but in the end we even climbed a small part of the Hohenglücksteig!""It was a lot of fun. I never thought I could climb so well. I just thought it was a bit stupid that I had to try the Hohenglücksteig because the others in my group wanted to. But then I didn't have to go any further there climb.""Our mountain guide was cool. My son went on a school trip this week. Unfortunately the rooms are very different - one was well furnished with a TV and he got a very small one which wasn't really clean, the smell in the room must have been bad. The sanitary facilities on the floors toilets weren't really clean and shower rooms have to have transparent shower walls, maybe you could change something about it. Not everyone loves revealing and you want your privacy. One day our son was unable to take part in the hike because of asthma and was supposed to help the innkeeper cook with a classmate. Unfortunately, that was a pretty unpleasant encounter. He wanted to shake his hand and say hello, but he was shouted at, that's how he went. Even in the coming days, when people tried to greet him, nothing came back. I think it's a shame if you run an accommodation like this then you should show a certain amount of care and friendliness to your guests. Of course, it's definitely not always easy to please everyone and one or two guests can be more stressful than the other, but politeness is still important. Actually, my son was there when he was a little boy and he really liked it back then and everyone was very nice.

Went here on a school trip a week ago. 2 rooms, all the others were great, ours was the biggest mess. Dirty floors, spiders everywhere, cobwebs, dirty carpet, everything broken and generally unhygienic and dirty. Not recommended and don't complain to the landlord unless you want to be complained about

We had a wonderful weekend: the huts were cozy, the breakfast was rich and the welcome was extremely warm. If you want to walk the Norissteig and the Höhenglücksteig, you can start straight away. It's just not a hotel and if you expect a hotel, you might be better off elsewhere.

There was no stay (thank God) at all. Since I would like to get this review published, my words will be much softer than this store deserves. We were there in April 2022 to plan our larger celebration for July 2022. Everything was agreed upon including detailed planning. We even registered overnight guests over the phone for the day before who would like to arrive in advance. At the end of June we wanted another vote on this, but unfortunately we had to hear that our reservation was not taken seriously or, in our opinion, was simply wasted by the owner. We had already invited all the guests and planned the following day with all the details. The owner wrote down everything with a pad and pencil when we were there and now the celebration has been canceled because it was lost due to sloppiness! He even had the audacity to offer us the remaining few barracks without showers etc. for this weekend, with the comment "We look forward to your booking" even though we had planned for 30 guests, with the note that all rooms must have a shower and bath. I hope this review will deter a lot of people from booking. The owner's extraordinary incompetence and impudence must not be subsidized.

My class there was very nice but the rooms were always different. In some the shower was transparent. In others the room was tiny but it didn't matter the program and the food was great. After three days I was already exhausted XD

We wanted to rent a via ferrata set for the Norissteig, according to the internet the office was open and a rental was possible, there was also an employee on site who told us in the most unfriendly manner that he wouldn't lend us anything because he was going home now. Slammed the door in our faces. Outrageous.
