Rooms are a bit older, but very clean. Service very friendly and attentive, location very convenient for local trainingThe stork theme runs very warmly throughout the hotel and is a joy to discover.The morning buffet is very diverse and decorated with a lot of love.

Unfortunately, I can't rate the hotel because we live in the Walbronn area and only go to La Cigogne for dinner, but I can fully recommend the La Cigogne restaurant based on our years of experience! Anyone who loves good French sauces and appreciates fresh preparation will definitely love La Cigogne! High-quality cuisine without frills and trallala like that of La Cigogne is very, very rare these days!I particularly recommend the onion soup, the frog legs, and the beef fillet strips in Calvados sauce!Please continue for a long time, dear Kientzel family!P.S. And another tip for all Dutch guests traveling through the ski area: please don't just try the schnitzel with fries (also good), but also a dish with sauce!

Small hotel with a family flair, you feel right at home and not like you are in a hotel. My room was comfortably furnished and special requests were responded to quickly and friendly.Located on the main street, you can get anywhere quickly and easily on foot.The breakfast was fine and manageable, with different types of bread rolls, sausage and cheese every day. Lovingly sliced vegetables and eggs freshly prepared upon request.All in all, I was very satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We were there with the family for my mother's (70+) birthday dinner. The food was consistently very good and the portions were rather too much. There was a very wide selection of dishes (German/French cuisine), which were nevertheless freshly prepared. Price/performance was absolutely reasonable, the service was very friendly and attentive.The somewhat antiquated ambience is certainly a matter of taste, but the parking situation is unfortunately a problem: there is a garage, but it has no signage and is much too narrow for today's vehicles. The building is located directly on the thoroughfare with no parking on both sides, so we had to park a few streets further.

As always, the parking situation is very limited. There are only a few parking spaces in the underground car park. The food is absolutely excellent, but unfortunately you usually have to wait a long time for your food.

The four of us had dinner for my birthday.I always read here, it takes longer!!!(dear fellow human beings, if you get such quality with such top cooking, then you can wait an hour or longer then you just have a small appetizer in advance, period.God we were so excited it was just great (I can judge that as a trained chef) I can only recommend the restaurant.I can't say anything about the hotel, we live in Herrenalb😂. Price performance great, I paid 133 euros for 4 people with drinks, starter and main course. Top 👍We'd love to come back.

I spent a week there. My room was small, but sufficient for my purposes and, above all, tidy.The food was also really good, both for breakfast and that one evening. There wasn't a big selection for breakfast, but there was everything you needed.The host family was also very nice and accommodating.The one star deduction is for the bed linen. The rubber pillow doesn't work at all, despite the pillowcase. Combined with the fairly high temperatures, I woke up every morning bathed in sweat.

Unfortunately disappointing for us, the grill plate had 4 pieces of meat, 2 of which were extremely thin. The pork loins were also quite thin and completely cooked through. The waiting time is also a bit too long. It's a shame...
