We (2 adults + 2 children) were here a second time. The first time was in March, when everything outside and in the underground car park was still a construction site and now. Unfortunately we were more than disappointed. We reserved a suite for 2 nights with breakfast over the phone. When we went to check in, we were suddenly told that we had to book breakfast separately and that we couldn't book or reserve it in advance because the operator was external. OK, then not. There weren't enough towels in the room, but we got them when we asked. But honestly, the staff is not very interested in the guests. We weren't even asked when checking out if everything was good and the best thing was that we were given the parking space, which costs €10 per day. We kindly pointed out that neither the price for the parking space nor the prices for breakfast were advertised on the Internet or in the hotel itself. Overall we were very disappointed and won't be coming back.

This is the second and last time we have stayed there.If you look at the reviews, including on Booking.com, you unfortunately have to say that the operators do not take their paying guests seriously. They are more likely to go one better and, since September, charge €10 for a parking space (previously free).You should save yourself the extra charge for a room with a balcony. The balcony is a tour where everyone can look into each other's rooms. There are no partitions, nor is there any seating.This was criticized by many and left uncommented.How can you build a hotel like this without air conditioning? Someone had a red pen that was too big or had no idea. With the windows closed it is very stuffy and uncomfortably warm. In the summer, an open window doesn't help either.The staff is overwhelmed. You can tell that these are untrained employees. Cleaning staff enter the room quite early without making themselves known beforehand. That has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with professionalism. Such employees should be dismissed without notice.If you don't know anything, you shouldn't run a hotel.If it weren't for the great location, I wouldn't give this hotel 5 years to stay empty.

All around ok. You should take a look at the shower door and also the bathroom door. The door is too narrow for the frame and the bolt is only barely in the lock. If you are not careful when showering, there will be a flood.Still well done.

We were so excited about the hotel in May 2024.This time the enthusiasm is limited. Location still top. Room facilities remain good.Hygiene in the room, elevator and breakfast room needs to be significantly optimized.Service not noticeable.It's a shame, with professionals it would certainly be a great hotel. A parking space directly in front of the hotel now costs 10 euros.

I would have liked to give it five stars. Location and service are excellent. I didn't like the room that much. But everyone should experience that for themselves. I still think it's recommended.

But I wouldn't go back a second timeIt was very cold because two outside doors were open so there was a draft. When I wanted to close a door, the waitress came and explained that the door had to stay open for 10 minutes, otherwise the cook would be too hot.It obviously doesn't matter whether the guests have to freeze because of itHere the chef is the king and not the guest.The staff at breakfast also left a lot to be desired. All the lady cared about was our room number. Although some of the buffet items were already empty, she preferred to consult her cell phone...

We were only here one night. Rooms nice, large and clean. Breakfast was good. Contrary to the other reviews, we were satisfied and would come back for a short stay at any time. The location is great, we enjoyed the view of the Elbe with the ships passing by at breakfast.Price/performance is right.

We spent our wedding night in a suite at the hotel. Unfortunately without any service from the staff. Neither congratulations on the wedding nor any other amenities. There wasn't even a bottle of water in the room. Language barriers at the hotel meant that not even our wedding guests were able to have a surprise at the hotel. Hotel simply furnished. THE ENTIRE HOTEL HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was almost unbearable. For the prices quoted you can expect more or stay cheaper and better somewhere else.

Hui on the outside... yuck on the inside!This hotel should be renamed a hostel. A night costs 140 to 180 euros without breakfast, without air conditioning, without a minibar or refrigerator, let alone a bottle of water in the room or anything else. We arrived and the room with a (sea) view felt like it was 40 degrees because, as described, there was NO AIR CONDITIONING in the entire complex. The stairwell, elevator and our room weren't super clean and there wasn't a cleaning lady even after 4 nights.You could book breakfast for 14 euros per person, but we cannot recommend it. It's more like it's clear, it's almost sad and there's nothing lactose-free, gluten-free or vegan, so not for everyone. There were 2 types of sausage, a cheese, no choice of bread or rolls, no fruit and everything was so warm and partly not cooled and also left open, so that you couldn't take jam, for example because of the wasps, or didn't want to take any jam for fear of accidentally eating one .The staff who were on site (mega understaffed) were very friendly and accommodating and tried to make everything as pleasant as possible given the circumstances. You feel the negative energy and dissatisfaction of the guests from all sides, although you can do the least about it! Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the hotel under any circumstances.It's a shame because the location would be really beautiful!
