Great modern hotel and restaurant, in an old half-timbered house. Very good cuisine, the rabbit was excellent and the cordon bleu was also excellentService is very friendly, attentive and customer-oriented.We could recommend without reservation and look forward to another visit

We were at the campsite in Freudenstein. We received a very warm welcome at Faust in Knittlingen and had a delicious meal. Cordon bleu and pasta with pumpkin and chestnuts. Delicious for the eyes and mouth 😋

The rooms look newly renovated and have a cozy touch. The owner is very flexible and friendly. I had no issues with the parking. I have only 2 remarks, finding the Gasthaus was a bit confusing because it didn't have a typical reception nor a proper sign. Second, there is no breakfast available in the morning of the weekdays. I came prepared because i called and asked beforehand, but some people might not know and come with more expectations.

Great and stylish atmosphere. Have been there several times, always excellent food, great service and warm treatment. You immediately feel at home. The menu is varied, adjusted seasonally and never boring with weekly changing recommendations. A perfect place to relax and enjoy.

Very pleasant, large, quiet room with a view. Top bathroom and bed linen. Very nice, clean furnishings in this beautifully newly renovated half-timbered house. Friendly, courteous service. You can sit nicely on the sun terrace and eat very well. It also looked cozy and inviting inside. We'd love to come back.

We had lunch at Faust on Saturday. We sat on the terrace - really lovely! The whole atmosphere is great and very stylish.We were 5 adults and 3 children. We all really enjoyed it! (Lamb rump, cordon bleu, Wiener schnitzel, rump steak, Greek salad, fries) The meat is really of a very good quality and the side dishes were also great.The only drawback: There wasn't a single high chair for our children (between 8 months and 2.5 years)We were served in a friendly manner and tables were put together for us. At the beginning we had the feeling that the landlord was a bit surprised by 8 people (without reservation) at once, but that subsided over the course of lunch.Our food came at the same time and the salad, as requested, in advance.We wavered between 4 and 5 stars but decided on 5 stars because the food and the ambience convinced us.Just buy a few more high chairs (you can get them at Ikea for under €20 😉) and that'll be fine!

There were four of us there and everyone was extremely satisfied. Very tasty salad, delicious cordon bleu and onion roast. Wine and Faust beer were also very good! Very nice service. Come again.
