We wanted to take a short vacation in Bremen. The Jägerstuben in Ritterhude seemed to us to be the ideal starting point - not too far from Bremen, Bremen was easily accessible by bus and train, and the price was ok. The room with bathroom was ok. Clean and modern, although the sink in the bathroom was so small that brushing your teeth became an acrobatic feat if you didn't want to make a mess. Then the night came. Footsteps, music and television from other rooms robbed you of sleep. The second night, from Saturday to Sunday, got even worse. We were about to call the police. Drunks rioted and fell through the hallways, against doors and closets. Sleep was out of the question around two o'clock. It may be that this hotel is good for mechanics, but for someone who is looking for peace and quiet: NO!!It's better to invest twenty or thirty euros more, but be quieter. The staff, it should be mentioned, is friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is also quite ok.

I can only advise against staying in this hotel.|We traveled to Ritterhude over the weekend to visit friends.|Unfortunately the stay had less to do with a hotel and more with a flophouse. …

It's a very nice little remaining hotel. Don't expect too much, you get quite a lot for what you pay. Just lower your expectations 😉 Gladly again. 😊

So of course I've slept in hostels that were cheaper and more lovingly designed.75€ for 1 night with breakfast - basement and shared bathroom. Quite steep.Since it was only a short overnight stay, we took the cheapest room. With shower and bathroom which is shared with 3 other rooms. Everything was clean but very sparse and not at all nice/homey or anything like that.I find the Schhöüssel handover a piece of paper with the name and room number problematic in terms of data protection. Our room in the basement was incredibly noisy, even if you tried hard, the door slammed when you closed it and you could hear every cough.Breakfast was okay.In general, the bad tone that the accommodation shows on booking, for example, is probably company policy. It's exciting that you can still afford something like that today. We'll probably hardly come back.

Hello, I wanted to leave a review. We are on August 16th. 2024 arrived for 2 for 2 days until August 18th. 2024. The first impression, well the construction site 😱 wasn't that nice, but that wasn't about the construction site at all. After 6 hours of driving we finally arrived. Then you would be standing in front of a locked door, which I personally didn't think was great, you had to ring the bell, a rather unfriendly person, whatever. Asked for the name. I called the lady over the intercom which I personally wasn't very nice about. You could also have opened the door and welcomed us personally if you could answer the intercom. Then when I mentioned my name she said in a rude voice that the room had apparently already been booked on August 15th. Which I definitely didn't book because I wasn't even free yet. Only August 16th. At some point after the back and forth we were allowed in and got our key 🔑 to finally get into our room. After 2 spiral stairs without an elevator 😱😡with a full suitcase, no help either. We finally got to the room 👍the room was ok. But toilet in the hallway. Not ok in terms of price. I had booked 2 days for 2 people with breakfast. It started the next day. We wanted to have breakfast, unfortunately that was a sentence with an X 😱🤷‍♀️. There was no more breakfast for us, it was around 9:45 and no information about the house or breakfast. So unfortunately we had to go somewhere else. I then asked if I could get a coffee. I was treated a bit unfriendly and the man of the house said I could have a coffee, but it would cost money 😱 even though I actually had breakfast inside for 2 people. Which unfortunately we didn't get. I thought that at least the coffee would be free. An approach. But unfortunately no, it cost 3 euros. Plus I was able to go somewhere else and had to pay for breakfast again. So double 😡 cheek. On the day of departure, we finally got breakfast and we wanted to leave, I asked for the bill 😱 and asked what was in there. Quote: It was charged for 3 nights for 2 people with breakfast, but I only had 2 nights and booked it, with one breakfast for 2 people and had to pay 285 euros. Impossibly, after a long back and forth, I paid for it because we wanted to go home at some point. I won't stay there again. Impossible is all I say

Update: hotel wanted to remove my colleague from the hotel because of exactly this bad review. Here is the original again:Cleanliness top. Kindness flop. Great apartments for rent that don't include a kitchen. Great if you want to ask something, you won't be able to enjoy the unfriendliness of the employees again until 6 p.m. The reception is also the best you have ever seen (see picture)Violations by the hotel of the following laws:1. Violation of general personal rights and freedom of expression:• The right to freedom of expression is protected by constitutions or basic laws in many countries (e.g. Article 5 of the Basic Law in Germany). Punishment or discrimination based on the expression of an opinion could constitute a violation of this fundamental right.2. Contractual provisions:• If you as a guest have a contract with the hotel (e.g. in the form of a booking), then being kicked out without just cause may constitute a breach of contract. Such expulsion could be viewed as an unlawful termination of the accommodation contract.3. Prohibitions of discrimination:• Many countries have laws against discrimination. If the hotel attempts to discriminate against you because of your expression of opinion (which is not offensive or defamatory), this could be considered a form of discrimination.4. Consumer protection laws:• In some cases, consumer protection laws aimed at ensuring fair and transparent business practices may also apply. Disadvantaging a guest based on an honest review could be considered an unfair business practice.Examples of relevant laws:• Germany: Article 5 of the Basic Law protects freedom of expression. Contractual aspects could be regulated according to the provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB).• EU: The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) protects freedom of expression in Article 10.
