We celebrated our wedding in the Walkische Haus in June 2024. The service and advice beforehand was absolutely perfect and we felt very comfortable with everything. All wishes were taken into account and all spontaneous wishes were fulfilled during the wedding. The location was beautiful, especially the rose garden was simply perfect for the free wedding ceremony. The hall was also very well prepared and tailored to our concept. Our absolute highlight was the delicious food and the snack at the champagne reception. We had a wonderful day that absolutely exceeded our expectations. We can recommend the Walkische Haus to everyone😊Thank you for the wonderful day😊😊

The service is great and the price-performance ratio is right. Our expectations were exceeded! All the guests were also enthusiastic about the food. Here we were able to choose a menu in advance. The rose garden was perfect for our private wedding. The courtyard was also very comfortable for coffee and cake and the hall was perfect for celebrating!Everything went perfectly, thank you again for the perfect day! ☺️We always enjoy coming to the Walksche Haus. An absolute recommendation from the heart ❣️

We celebrated our wedding on Saturday in the romantic hall of the Walkschen Haus. From the planning with Mr. Hüsing to the flexibility and organization of the day itself, it was simply great. We had a wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony in the covered courtyard followed by a champagne reception. The wedding reception itself was a dream. The food was delicious and the service was first class. Thank you so much for making our day so special 🫶

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding with our 10-month-old daughter. At first you couldn't book it online because you couldn't specify children as traveling companions. It worked over the phone and given the fact that we were part of the wedding party, but there was an additional charge of €10 as a service fee for the baby and an additional €15 for a baby bed.On site we were accommodated in the annex building on the 1st floor without an elevator. Practical with a toddler and stroller. The room was a bit old, but the bathroom was relatively recently renovated and everything was clean. The baby bed was an old travel cot of the cheapest kind with an ancient cover. When we wanted to go to bed in the evening, the parents' bed creaked and squeaked unbearably - with the slightest movement - so that a restful sleep was out of the question. The breakfast on the 1st floor of the main building was okay, but the room was clearly showing its age and wasn't necessarily comfortable. The icing on the cake was that the breakfast, which was included in the overnight price, was charged again when a couple who were friends of ours checked out. The chargeback could not be done immediately, but the money will (hopefully) be transferred back afterwards. When we checked out, we complained about the terribly creaking bed, which was not accepted by the overwhelmed receptionist. All in all, the price of €150 for one night is significantly overpriced.
