I like country inns - including the lake view. The food is OK. The service too. The interior is old - but somehow also has style. But the fact that the AfD repeatedly receives shelter for their meetings, despite vehement protests from former regular customers, says a lot about the politically questionable attitudes of the owners. Too bad. Even more than good food, I value people who like other people, and not just fellow citizens. A star.

The boss is the unfriendliest person, unimaginable treatment of guests!The manager of this hotel has a rude, arrogant and unfriendly attitude towards her guests. Agreements/commitments regarding the use of space had to be requested by submitting emails that had taken place.The service was partly subpar, we waited up to 2 hours for the food.The rooms have 80s charm and could use some renovation.But, a very good kitchen. Everything that was served to us was very good. - It must be said in fairness.If the management of this hotel were to change and a few renovations were carried out, then we could recommend it. But under the current management, I can only advise against a visit. - Unless you enjoy being treated as a paying guest by the lady...

The room had numerous spider threads and countless mosquitoes.The results of the removals could be clearly seen on the walls and ceilings.The shower was, sorry for the expression, filthy.An outdated hotel that probably doesn't value cleanliness and hygiene.

The environment is just good. The landlady not so much. The guests finally bring the money into the house.We were there as a group and since I had my dog with me, we had to sleep in the guest house, which was supposedly around the corner. With my luggage and my dog, it took me 20 minutes to get to the hotel on the day of departure. Something like that doesn't work at all.One of the group said that she had paid three different prices for an apple spritzer in one day.A glass of wine cost €8.90. These prices are a horror. At 10 p.m. in the evening everything was closed and you had to go to bed.The house is really great on the lake. The staff goes to great lengths to provide guests with good care. The food is also good and tasty. The breakfast buffet was always very good.However, we will no longer go there as a group. We had a three-day seminar. The room couldn't be darkened, so you couldn't use a projector. Luckily the speaker had printed out the program for everyone so we could all follow her easily.As I said, the staff and the environment are good, but not for us.

I have to honestly say that I'm a bit disappointed, everything was clean but just not nice and the furnishings weren't quite the best anymoreThe lady behind the counter, on the other hand, was very friendly, at least if you, as a North German, understand the usual tone and humor hereI can only speak highly positively about the breakfast, very nice selection and also great in terms of taste

Unfortunately I am very dissatisfied. The beds are extremely hard, I couldn't sleep in them, the shower was broken and everything was very, very old fashioned.

Lovely place. Old fashioned hospitality at its best! There were possibilities to do water activities, I think. We were passing through so only enjoyed the good food good beds and kind service!
