I can only warmly recommend this hotel 🥰 it is ideally located, quiet and the owners are super nice. The breakfast is super tasty and more than sufficient and varied. We would love to come back 🫶

My favorite place that we stayed in Germany. We traveled to Munich, Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Berchtesgaden and this was the best hotel. Amazing family owned hotel, that answers all our questions, basically laid out a walking tour for us to do the next day and had multiple restaurant recommendations. All were fantastic!

I spent a week at this hotel and couldn’t have been more delighted. First the location; just off the beat, but right in the beautiful city center of Nürnberg. The rooms are not modern, but maintained extremely well with updated bathrooms etc. Each room has everything you’ll need, from a little fridge to paper clips☺️The owner is an absolute delight. This is a family operated business, and it shows how much Kirsten cares about her guests. She’ll bent over to help anybody and always with a big smile.Should I come back to Nürnberg, Franconia Hotel, will definitely be my choice!

I stayed here 3 nights for the EW24 tech expo. The people running the place are very friendly and helpful. They gave me really good advice on what to visit, where to eat. I liked the buffet breakfast. Being a 3 min walk to the U1 station was convenient. I'll definitely book this again next year.

Owner-run hotel located in the middle of the city. Its central location makes it an ideal starting point for discovering the city on foot. The breakfast offering is great and very varied. The rooms are lovingly designed and functionally furnished. There is parking directly opposite the hotel in a parking garage. We felt very comfortable.

The rooms are super clean and luxurious for my wife and I, and the breakfast is ideal for kernel eaters and meat lovers. Parking is conveniently opposite the hotel in the city underground car park for hotel rates, again a luxury. The inexpensive parking rate should perhaps be better mentioned on the hotel website, as that is also a deciding factor for those looking for a hotel.Nuremberg on foot from here is perfect. Park the car and forget it for your stay.The mega cool landlady is a dream. Brilliantly helpful, spontaneous, and realistically practical.She has very good advice and empathetic actions.Ms. Matkey could also hold a candle to André Vedovelli from Atlantic in Hamburg and the chemistry with her and Udo Lindenberg would certainly be right. But until Mrs. Matkey goes rogue, we enjoy the atmosphere in her hotel in Nuremberg.We (from a small town in the Bavarian Forest) didn't notice any noise coming from any direction. No through traffic, and if there had been an operation at the fire station and we had registered it, that would have been more than fine. They could also have come out because of us and wanted to help us.In short, if Nuremberg, then for us again with Ms. Matkey in the Franconia City Hotel.We don't benefit from this, I write as well as we liked.Martin with Sabine

I travel a lot for work, so I know a lot of hotels and accommodations.But this hotel is simply the warmest and the one in terms of service that makes you look forward to going to work even on Mondays, knowing that you can check in here in the evening.Room perfect - beds not sagging.The atmosphere, the quaintness, everything as a whole is an island to feel good about.Top address.

What a fantastic find. Two couples spent 2 nights here for the Christmas Markets. The rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is plentiful and the owner will make eggs to order. Kiersten, the owner, goes out of her way with recommendations, directions, maps etc. Location is a short distance to the Old Town Square.

The landlady is very kind and enthusiastic about explaining the attractions near the old city, nearby supermarkets, and recommended restaurants. If you have any questions, ask the landlady and she will answer them very kindly.The location of the hotel is very good. It is located on the edge of the old city. There is a subway station nearby and it is not far from the main attractions in the old city on foot.The room is large, has a refrigerator, a water heater, and a small changing space for ironingThe house price is not expensive and the CP value is highThe disadvantage is that there is no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage upstairs.

This is a terrific boutique hotel run extremely well. Kerstin is most helpful and hospitable in all matters and provides a very good breakfast. It's easy to get to and you can explore the old town easily on foot, and it's handy to public transport nodes. We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was spacious, reasonably quiet, well appointed and there were lots of nice little touches. It's good value for money and we'd stay again. Highly recommended.

The friendliness and the cozy atmosphere were very pleasant.We came to the mammoth march from Leipzig to Nuremberg. We were warmly welcomed, there is a parking garage opposite; it is best to pay at the hotel as it is significantly cheaper than in the parking garage. The breakfast is very varied and prepared with a lot of love.All in all, we were very satisfied and can highly recommend this hotel.
