Incredible, I booked a room for one night in the month of August through Dagebüll Tourismus GmbH and I am forced to cancel due to Covid. I tried to contact the hotel by phone repeatedly, but not only did no one answer the phone, but there was also no return of the missed calls, so I was forced to cancel through Dagebüll Tourismus GmbH, which sent me an email confirmation of said cancellation.What is my surprise that I receive an invoice from the hotel for 100% of the amount, without removing the amount corresponding to the cancellation.Despite repeatedly complaining, both to the hotel and to Dagebüll Tourismus Gmb, to eliminate that part of the bill and give a minimum of deference to the reason for my cancellation, I receive an invoice from a law firm, with a higher amount for late payment and the threat of increasing for each day of late payment!!!!That's the Dagebüll tourist organization!!!!!Is this the German organization, where they both stand in profile and wash their hands?This treatment of customers is totally unacceptable and leaves much to be desired as a tourist center!

A nice hotel right in the small town of Dagebüll. The food in the restaurant is good and can be recommended. The hotel is also clean and well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, the shower was also okay. Unfortunately everything is a little expensive, but that's normal on the coast. Most of the staff tried hard, but were often quite unfriendly! Hospitality isn't that strong in the far north anyway, but here you shouldn't even look at anyone the wrong way. I don't know if it was the boss of the house, but e.g. works here. E.g. an older gentleman who, as soon as he arrives at the reception, you can tell that he doesn't like younger people and doesn't actually have any interest in his job (correct occupation?).The man was in a bad mood almost all the time, complained and was rude and unfriendly to guests, and even didn't avoid arguments. That's a reason for me to avoid a hotel. I don't need to be treated like royalty, but I do expect at least basic polite manners and a little respect! If you don't like (younger) people/tourists/, it's better not to work in a hotel.

The lady at reception was abrupt and not very friendly. The storage room for my expensive and heavy e-bike was unusable due to the steep ramp. Overall, not a recommendation because it was uncomfortable

We ate there twice and didn't live there.The staff was very friendly to us. Wonderful Nordic warmth.The dinner was very good, unfortunately we sometimes had to wait a long time for our food.The restaurant is very busy.

I spent two nights in a single room at this hotel. The room was very clean, but that's the only positive thing you can say about the room. It was very, very small, ceiling height about 1.90m, so not for taller people. To get into the bathroom without heating, you have to duck your head, otherwise you'll end up on the door frame. When I asked if I could get another room, the very humorous, unfriendly boss said that everything was full and that I had finally booked the cheapest category. However, there were still rooms available online and there is only one category for single rooms.The breakfast was very simple, no fresh fruit, fish etc.The service staff at breakfast were very nice, as were the cleaning staff.I can't recommend this hotel because of the impossible boss, there's still a lot of room for improvement

Wellness for the soul! We always feel very comfortable with our little daughter. The staff is warm, the food is plentiful and fresh with lots of homemade delicacies, the rooms are always clean, stylishly furnished and with the most beautiful views.

If you are traveling alone, you may get a tiny single room - apparently a broom closet was converted into single room 201. Shower, sink and toilet are in the same room!! Due to its location below the roof, there is a sloping ceiling above the single bed. There is almost no space to open the suitcase.Showering is a disaster - when the mixer tap is set to a constant setting, the temperature fluctuates for a short time from very hot to ice cold - only something for the hard-core. Despite the elevator, the room can only be reached via various stairs. Although the room has relatively new furniture/sanitary facilities and a safe, as well as a large TV, the rating remains - not recommended, look for other accommodation if possible.

We were only in the restaurant, it was very full, we had reserved.Staff very friendly and on the ball, they literally run off their heels. However, over 1 hour. Waited for the food, without information why, without sorry, that's not possible. Food was ok.

We had 7 nights in a nice room. A bit small for the price, but ok. Everything was perfect in the bathroom, unfortunately there was only a sliding door made of frosted glass, so no privacy. That bothered me a lot.The hotel was very winding and you had to be careful not to get lost.The staff was very friendly to us, so we can't complain.The dinner was very good, unfortunately we sometimes had to wait a long time for our food.The breakfast was more than simple, some sausage and cheese, tomatoes and cucumber.Fruit salad, but no fresh fruit. No fish or fish salad.I think when you vacation in the north you expect that.And if I have to pay 4 star prices, I can also expect a corresponding breakfast.Unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes in the house, fly screens and curtains might not be bad.The bottle of water that was in the room cost €3.50, but everywhere else you get it for free as a welcome.The sauna cost 25 euros, which I found really outrageous.The crowning glory, however, was the head of the house. Unpleasant, snotty, rude. He treats the guests...He can learn a lot from his staff.Overall the stay was ok, I don't know if I'll come back yet.Friendliness and a really good breakfast are very important to me on vacation.Our ray of hope was Sandra, a magical person with a lot of warmth. Thank you for that.

To supplement!!!!!!I was able to stay in this house again this year for work. I realized that there was unfriendliness, arrogance and bad foodwas even worse than last year. Although the sergeant from last year was no longer there and the service staff in the dining room were much friendlier than on the last visit, one could not ignore the quality of the food served in buffet form. There were no more than three different salads, most of which were canned. One day there was fish that was so full of bones that my guests had to leave it alone and a roast pork that was dried out and oversalted.A guest in my group was approached very stupidly in the bar/restaurant by the boss himself and the waiter, who repeatedly asked whether we could order something to drink, carefully looked away. I then went up to him to order, took out his cell phone, stood there and made a phone call. I've never seen a greater outrage.If the location of the hotel wasn't so good for groups, no travel company would go there anymore.We stayed at this hotel as a travel group by bus. The rooms were very clean and friendly. The service staff, on the other hand, only partially. The bus groups were entertained in the hall. The dinner was served in buffet form and the selection and quality were sometimes subpar. As a group guest you should not go to the bar or restaurant area, as the food there is a la cart and you could take the place away from the guests in the first category. But what was the biggest shame was that our driver had to sleep in a low-rise building on the campsite. A person like that, who has so much responsibility for his passengers, should actually be given the best room in the house. I found that pretty borderline.
