This hotel is great walking distance to all the tourist areas. It is also very close to the “red light” district if you want to also check that out at night.There is parking on site and also a restaurant on site that offers breakfast at €23.Spacious modern rooms with a safe and heated bathroom floor which almost makes up for the fact that the wifi is absolutely terrible. It cuts out all the time and just stops working so much so that I had to use my own phone as a wifi hot spot.Perhaps a European thing but the king size bed is more like two twins put together with separate duvets for each person which ensures no one steals your duvet during the night.

Very centrally located with spacious, bright rooms, I was satisfied. Tip: if you book with PayPal, a virtual MasterCard (which is associated with the PayPal account) is deposited. I didn't know the number, which caused some confusion when checking in. I was able to see the number via Google Wallet on my phone.

Stayed at a room on the 5th floor for 5 nights. Very nice view. Room is large. Bed is comfortable, except for the fact that the pillows had an extra case to protect against fluids. It also holds air inside and was puffed like a balloon, which made it very uncomfortable. I had to de-inflate it. There were large stains on the carpet (see image).The shower is well equipped but not well planned:The toilet seat is square (!). Sitting on it is uncomfortable.A towel hanger is above the counter.There is an extra makeup mirror, but the angle is not right and it is on the darker end of the bathroom.Receptionists' English is too basic. I asked about a feather pillow but they didn't understand me and my native English speaker husband. I asked for a shower cap (a sticker in the bathroom encourages you to ask for it) but the receptionist understood me only when I showed her an image from Google.On the 2nd day, our room was not made. When we came back, we saw it and asked for service. We went for lunch but when we returned we realized that the bed was made, toilet paper added and some coffee fingers were thrown on the coffee corner. However, no spoons and no creamer were provided. When we talked to a receptionist he said that the room service is provided by a contractor and they find it difficult to control. We found it an unacceptable excuse for poor service. Even afterwards, the room service did not improve. The coffee corner was still missing items and dirty cups not picked up.In total, we were very disappointed. Not a good value for money.

Good hotel in a central location. The technical equipment in the rooms is not up to date, but the rooms are spacious, clean and otherwise well equipped.The staff, especially in the restaurant/bar, are very attentive and friendly and therefore particularly worth mentioning.The breakfast is very decent with a good selection.Possibly problematic for some travelers: The hotel is located right next to the red light district.

I love this hotel! Every year, sometimes twice per year, I stay here when i travel to Nürnberg. It's convenient to the U Bahn, and the Hauptbahnhoff and has all sorts of stores and restaurants nearby, too. A very cozy, comfortable hotel.

I only stayed here once (5/10/24) and wasn't overly enthusiastic about it. Upon entering the hotel I was called an "insert rude word here" by one of the guests for not closing a door behind me - which was already open, I just walked through it.Check in was fine, getting the car into the car park was a bit more complicated and at 14 euro per night I'd have thought could be better. Only about 10 above ground spaces available so don't count on getting one - I had a roof box on my car so couldn't park in the underground parking.It may be great for some to know that the red light district is maybe 50m away, the lovely ladies of the day/night hang out in window fronts so it's good for the kids to experience this! haha Some of the rooms overlook it.I was told breakfast was 21 euro (I didn't take them up on this extortionate offer) but I see other reviews saying it was 12 euro. Who knows, maybe the staff pick and chose the price at random.My wife booked and paid for my night through Expedia for £61 prior to my arrival. When I checked out at 5am on Sunday 6th October I was met with a very rude reception guy who informed me with a lot of authority that I was incorrect and he was in fact, correct that I hadn't paid for my night. I didn't have the confirmation email since my wife booked it. He made me pay a further 98 euro in his abrupt manner and told me to take it up with Expedia. We now have and Holiday Inn have refunded us but didn't apologise or admit their error...My wife has stayed there 3 or 4 times and this is the second time we've been over charged. Maybe it's a scam Holiday Inn in Nuremburg have going? I wonder how many others have been over charged?So, I'll be waiting for the apology from Holiday Inn

Very poor experience overall at this hotel. The location is abominable—literally steps away from the city's redlight district. And you can imagine what kind of riffraff that attracts.We also found the service to be pretty awful. Not everyone was rude, but we had enough problematic encounters with staff that I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.Worst of all, they charged us twice for our stay. Instead of apologizing for their mistake, the customer service rep yelled at me on the phone and told me to "email someone" when she couldn't figure out how to refund my credit card. When I asked for an actual email address, she told me to "look it up on the internet."Wow.

My stay at this hotel was a disaster from the start. Upon arriving in my room, I found that the air conditioning wasn’t working. The thermostat showed 21°C, but the room was freezing cold and only cold air was blowing from the vents. I called the front desk, and they sent someone from maintenance who acknowledged the room was very cold but insisted everything was “fine.”After waiting an hour with no improvement, I went back to the reception to complain, as the room was like an icebox. They gave me another room, but once again, the room was freezing and the air conditioning wasn’t working. This situation repeated itself, and it took two hours of complaints, escalating the issue in a loud and forceful manner, before the problem was resolved. Only then was I finally upgraded to a new room where, miraculously, the air conditioning worked.What made the situation even worse was the incredibly unprofessional behavior of the staff. One of the receptionists kept switching to German and laughing at me, which was noticed by other guests who were also waiting at the desk. This behavior was completely inappropriate. She repeatedly told me that she couldn’t help and had no solution to offer, showing no interest in resolving the issue. She also claimed she was not qualified to handle the situation and handed it over to a new blonde colleague, who was similarly clueless. When I asked for a contact to speak with hotel management, I was refused and directed to a generic email address.The fact that, in a hotel where guests are spending significant amounts of money, basic amenities like heating are unavailable, is absolutely unacceptable. Other guests were also complaining about how cold the rooms were, and the staff’s response was that this was “normal.” The only solution they offered me was an extra blanket, which is laughable in this day and age.What is particularly fascinating is that the air conditioning only works in the so-called “premium” room, which is merely a family room in reality. It seems that guests are expected to pay extra just to get basic comfort, which is outrageous.In 25 years of travel, this is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I can assure you I will never return, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. This stay was a disaster from start to finish.I would like to hear from the hotel management about this,

We stayed here for two nights with our 9 month old son. They even put a baby bed in the room (although it didn't say there was one online). The hotel is very centrally located and the rooms are spacious, clean and modernly furnished. There was also a small fitness studio and a sauna. We felt very comfortable and would book it again if we came to Nuremberg again. The underground car park right next to the hotel is super practical.

The hotel is ideally located in the city center and is easy to reach by car.Our room was very clean and a good size. We had a double bed and a sofa bed, both of which were very comfortable. The rooms are air conditioned.The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. There was a large selection and if something was empty, it was quickly refilled.The only point of criticism is the parking garage with an extremely narrow entrance, where one or two cars have certainly left their mark, and the very narrow parking spaces.We can only recommend the hotel and find the price/performance ratio to be very good.

The place is decent and its restaurant is top notch.Their financial processes, however, are below current world's quality:They do not check against the bank card authorizations, which means that you pay for the room(s) once, and wait another maximum time with your bank for the same amount to become available again.In today's business world, when authorizations can be checked against within seconds, and where 1 USD is also an option, this approach is unacceptable.Especially when the concierge tells you it would take 3 days, top. Then it is 30 days, or 45, or 60, depending on your bank.Too bad that financial management (with whom I got in contact with about the case) ruins the quality of this place.
