The operators knew exactly what a hiker needed. I felt very comfortable in my sweet little shepherd's wagon. There was even unexpectedly a laundry service and 2 (good) cold beers.

My daughter and I were warmly greeted and felt very welcome by Ivonne.We booked the riding package.We were introduced to the herd and had a small area in the horse run that we "had" to muck, which we were happy to do.Riding was always done in the beautiful surroundings using the Rai method.The children were allowed to braid the ponies' manes and paint them once.It was very family-like on the farm.We would love to come back.

I did an internship here over the summer holidays. From day one I felt like part of the family and the farm. I received a very warm welcome and love the family, appreciative atmosphere here. The appreciation Ivonne and Thomas show for people can also be clearly seen in the horses. Everyone here, whether human or horse, can be individual and is seen for their strengths and abilities. I particularly liked the fact that I was able to try things out and live out my strengths when dealing with teenagers and horses. We always find something suitable for the interns where they can shine with their skills. No matter what you are, you will be accepted and seen the same way and supported in everything you want. Working here at the farm has increased my self-confidence many times over. Thank you Ivonne and Thomas for this! 😊 I will definitely come back and I am happy to have met such valuable people in my life.

If you want a break in nature, are looking for a place to recharge solo/with people and animals, if you want to ride RAI and/or get to know Arabian horses up close, this is the right place for you. Ivonne Mayerlen, with all her animals and her wonderful shepherd and construction wagons, has created a place in Hummeltal where you can arrive easily and wonderfully. After 5 days of vacation it is clear that I will come back.

We, two horse girls in our 40s, had a wonderful time at Ivonne's farm. We have always wanted to try the gentle Rai riding method. The horses are noticeably doing very well on the beautiful farm with the spacious exercise area and the respectful treatment. Ivonne is very nice and a sensitive, patient teacher and host. Although we were incredibly unlucky with the weather (snow and cold at the end of April!), it was always toasty warm in the shepherd's wagon. Thank you for everything and gladly again! A place where all beings are treated with love and kindness and the guest is warmly welcomed. Despite my many years of riding experience with a wide variety of riding styles and also a lot of recreational and cross-country riding, I was amazed to learn so much about horses. That's exactly what I was hoping for, because I've now developed a more attentive view of dealing with the animal while riding, because it's not about sitting on it straight away, but rather getting to know the nature of the horse very sensitively. The horses there are deeply relaxed and yet very alert. You have enjoyed a very careful education. How nice and sensible that you can/can start with ground work first in order to get to know the horses. They listen to the voice and only need the slightest assistance when riding. The bridle is minimally invasive. Basically, I just want to ride like that, because everything is AThe other is invasive towards the living being. The construction trailers are incredibly cute and lovingly prepared, a very special experience. Of course you have to forgo some comforts, but similar to camping. This means that anyone who is a natural person will really appreciate the type of accommodation and we immediately felt integrated into the farm and also a little bit into family life. Very friendly, lovely people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful stay and I will certainly be coming back with my son with great anticipation.

We spent 5 days on vacation at Yvonne's farm - two friends with two 9 year old boys. It was a wonderful, unforgettable time!The horses are kept very well: in the herd in the active/open stable and are therefore happy and balanced. The people I got to know were relaxed, happy to run and absolutely reliable in the terrain. The children also had great experiences with their foster ponies. Both were particularly happy about the encounters and (guided) rides with the two new additions Amigo and Saphyr. I am very grateful (as an experienced, former English rider) for the relaxed introduction to RAI riding. The surrounding terrain is beautiful, hilly, many soft forest paths.The boys were very happy in their "own" caravan with a trampoline and play area in front of the door and - apart from the time with the horses - had a great time with the family's children.Our trailer "Morgensonne" was a dream, very lovingly and luxuriously equipped (very comfortable mattresses, super insulated, induction stove, small oven, stylish stone heater, ...), within sight of the children's caravan.Yvonne and her family are incredibly warm and have a solution for every problem.We are already looking forward to our next visit with you. At the farm or on a trail ride.
