We were at the brewery as part of the beer source hiking trail!The currywurst was great and not particularly expensive and the beer was, in my opinion, the best thing on the tour! 🤔☺️

The food was good, what you would expect from a beer garden. The portions were generous enough. Beer was very good. Price/performance are completely appropriate. Despite the fact that the kitchen was actually closed recently, we still got food. Very family friendly.Will come again

An experience that cannot be found twice in Franconian Switzerland.As the only innkeeper in the village of 430 souls, you can find a delicious naturally cloudy light beer from our own brewery here in the evening. Simply excellent. The brewery kettles can be admired in the showroom illuminated through the panoramic window.The beer garden around the massive log cabin is stylishly and comfortably furnished and the restaurant is rustic. The Kürzdörfer couple serve and cook personally. And that is also the highlight of the site visit. You have to experience both of them in person to celebrate it. You first have to earn their trust, then you will gain access to the table and food and drink you long for. Woe betide anyone who behaves like they do in the system catering and ignores rules such as the strict entry times. He walks straight from the farm with his head bowed - that's for sure. The doors are warmly open to the guest who considers it the privilege that it represents to be welcomed here. The exclusivity becomes all the more clear when you learn in conversation that the delicious home-brewed product is not delivered to supermarkets or private individuals. The delicious coolness is only reserved for the privileged guests on site.If you strictly observe the kitchen times and the local rules (no groups over 10 people!!!), this is heaven on earth in the middle of the rustic forest landscape.Absolute recommendation!

Delicious home-brewed beer. Unfortunately, the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired, mainly ready-made products are used, from schnitzel to sauces and salad. It's a shame actually, I would have liked to have paid more for my lunch and enjoyed fresh and homemade specialties.

Food ala snack bar. Unfortunately, only ready-made products are used here (we had schnitzel, fries and salad).The landlord and landlady are rather taciturn, exclusively self-service in the small terrace beer garden.The table was sticky and unclean and was then wiped with a dirty cloth when we asked.It's just a shame because the location is actually very nice.No more recommendation😖!

Can't understand the bad reviews.We were warmly welcomed and the food was tasty.We found the landlord to be a very nice, helpful man.If we are in the area again we will definitely come back!
