When we arrived in Bad Berneck we were initially disappointed. The place desperately needs care. But we were warmly welcomed by the Friedrichs and were wonderfully accommodated, fed and pampered. We spent wonderful days. Whether boss, boss, grandma or daughter, always happy to be informative and helpful. We'd love to come back again.

We are here at the inn for 3 days. I spilled coffee on my pants at a rest stop on the way. I asked the boss, Ms. Friedrich, if I could dry my pants on the terrace. Things turned out completely differently, she got the pants, washed them, dried them and put them on the bed fresh and clean. I found that very, very nice.

Onion roast with dumplings was very good. Salad plate for me. Less suitable for vegetarians. Good breakfast. Very friendly owners. Then shopped for home. Happy to come back! Thanks

We only used the restaurant. The selection on the menu is quite large. Small food but not to be found like that. The currywurst was out. My husband's meatloaf with fried egg had 2 large slices. But what doesn't work is potato salad with mayonnaise. I didn't even have to try it to be sure that the convenience was out of the box. That doesn't belong on the plate in southern Germany. I tried the breaded liver. I've never had it before, it was very tender, but it won't be my favorite dish. Service was probably done by the boss, who was very nice.

Very welcoming family hotel. The staff are friendly and attentive to customer needs. Dinner with genuine and local products. Abundant breakfast and attentive service. Clean and warm rooms. We will definitely return.

Very friendly innkeepers. Even though he was actually out of the kitchen, he made us something to eat. We enjoyed the food very much. The room was large and clean. We were only there one night. But it is also suitable for staying longer. We had parking right in front of the door. We can recommend it.

Very nice family business run by people who have their hearts in the right place, very hardworking and courteous, functional rooms, large terrace, absolutely great value for money. Here the boss cooks and does it very tasty. Always worth a stay.

As every time we travel south, an overnight stay at the Gasthaus Friedrich is mandatory for us. Unfortunately it only worked on the return journey. As always, we were very satisfied. We were able to welcome the senior manager and enjoyed the good food in the evening. We always look forward to staying there again. We wish the family all the best.

We were passing through here and are absolutely satisfied with the room (comfortable and very clean) the Hirschraten was super tasty and the breakfast was perfect. We would love to come back, even for a little longer, because the area is very beautiful and there is a lot to explore. A really good family business with fairer prices.
