As an ambassador member of Marriott, my family and I sometimes do come here for relaxation (mama-daughter weekends), even our home is only 7 mins far by driving. Everything has been exceptional good after the renovation, and a few things would like to point out:1) Mr.Nicolas Valcaeantu, who has been working in the hotel for 20 years +. He knows everything in the hotel and helps everything when the colleagues need (helps for breakfast, housekeeping, etc). He’s really top top top! One of the best employee of Marriott in years I have ever met !!!2) Ms.Marta Pagliasso, who is from the front desk and super helpful and cheerful. I feel very welcomed to be back again. Her positive attitude and the way of communication with me, so far she’s the best to make me feel home to stay in this hotel. She has done immediate perfect action for my check in to make sure I can enjoy the weekend with my daughter 👍🏻3) Ms.Maria Gramatikova, who is from F&B, we meet from the happy hour section (so nice to be 1800-2000 everyday for elite members). She’s so attentive, kind, very great sweet smiles, and doing the best to make everyone feels welcome 🤗However, a big NO to Ms.Vanessa Solid. She was the person standing at the elite member check in, who is the trainee. She was so RUDE. Zero smiles, arrogant, (eg when she couldn’t hear me, she said “What?!”), and simply told me, “your room is not ready now (1400), but I can give you the handicapped room)’ “is there something can be better?”, “our check in time is 1500 and you have to wait for it”. I was shocked for her behaviour, and I looked at her. While she looked at me back for a minute without speaking a word. Totally RUDE. Not acceptable for any front desk anywhere in the world. Dear GM, please don’t ruin your hotel reputation because of her.Most of the rooms are good, except those that’s next to the lifts (don’t know why they are not renovated for a reason), so loud, sounds like a rusty shopping kart passing by every time when it opens and closes.Rooms are clean, breakfast is full of ranges, location is great, staffs are very nice, swimming pools are excellent and I like the steam sauna very much too!This honest review will also be forwarded to the hotel GM, my ambassador assistant, and the HQ of Marriott.

I’ve never been to jail but if I did, the bed at this hotel has to be similar. My ribs were sore after the first night of sleep. For €500/night, it should be better than a bag of straw.All of the staff was excellent and the lobby and food and drink options are very good.

We had a great experience at the Munich Marriott during our recent visit for Oktoberfest. The hotel is tucked away from the bustle of the city, but is just a couple minutes’ walk from public transit and therefore extremely easy to get where you need to go. The accommodations were very nice, quiet, and clean.The staff was excellent from the get go. Marius checked us in and was wonderful and friendly, making sure our visit to Munich started off on the proper foot. We had a friend joining us for our stay the following day, and it was easy to set everything up so she could access the room without us having to be present.I’ve seen a few reviews specifically mentioning water; we received a bottle of water upon check in, as well as complimentary water a few times throughout our stay. Either way, the water is under €2 which is very cheap relative to the area and to American standards.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay again.

We were guests for two nights at Oktoberfest. Unfortunately there were some problems during check-in regarding the names of the travelers. But this wasn't a problem at all for the lady at the reception (Mrs. Leonie Simon). With her friendly and professional manner, she helped us quickly and easily. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back! Keep it up!!!!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and for a rate of 500 euros per night, I expected much more. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.To begin with, the fact that there was no complimentary water in the room was frustrating, especially considering the steep price of the stay. Even worse, when I discovered that the water provided wasn’t free, it felt like a ridiculous charge for something that should be a basic amenity.Additionally, there were no toothbrushes in the room, and when I requested one, it took around 40 minutes to arrive. For a hotel charging 500 euros per night, this kind of delay for a simple request is completely unacceptable.To make matters worse, guest parking is not included and is charged separately. It's surprising that a hotel with such a high rate would charge extra for parking instead of offering it as a complimentary service.Lastly, the hotel itself looks old and outdated. The decor is worn out, and the facilities could definitely use a refresh. Overall, while the staff was friendly, the quality of the experience was far below what I would expect for such an expensive stay. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made, especially at this price point.

Great hotel where you can stay without any problems even in 3 days of rainy weather. The wellness area is really great, clean and quiet. The location is very good, you can get everywhere by subway. The breakfast is plentiful and really delicious.Many thanks to Ayman from the bohemian bar 💜 Michi and Jerry from service downstairs at reception and at the entrance and Marvin from reception. The staff in general was very helpful and warm. Thank you very much for the great and relaxing stay, we will definitely come back.
