The owner has kicked us out of the hostel and threatened us in the middle of our stay here, having already paid. We have two nights left in Berlin and we have nowhere to sleep.DON'T COME!!!

A shame of a place. We booked three nights in this dreary and sad hotel whose owner, a rude, crazy Czech, threatened to slap one of the kids who were there. The cleaning is bad, the quality terrible, the mattress hard and the tables terrible.A shame of a place. A friendly host! Our room was nice and clean, quite spacious and it included bathroom and a fridge. Bathroom was also clean, allthough be aware of the tap in the shower- i burned my hand on it-it gets really hot! We had a bunk bed; it was okey, maybe a bit uncomfortable and the pillows could use an update.

The first impression of the area was somewhat mixed. After a little walk around the block and the park things look better. After calling the number given in the booking and also posted on the corner, I was greeted by the owner and immediately given information about the neighborhood. Then we went further into the room. For me, hostel is the wrong term here; I had a private 4-person room in the house next door. Whether it was because of the booking or not, I was (luckily) spared the hostel feeling. The room itself consists of a living/sleeping area, a small, well-equipped kitchen and a small entrance area. There is also a fairly spacious bathroom. This "room" would be considered an apartment anywhere else in Berlin. After a short conversation, we were given the WiFi password and asked to contact us at any time if anything happened.Briefly about the owner, despite only a short conversation, he seems to be a very nice person and I personally like him.The location is very good, tram is less than 500 meters away on foot, U2 can be reached within 10 minutes. There is a bus stop next to the tram, but these are unpunctual, as I'm used to in Berlin.REWE and Lidl can be reached in just a few minutes.

Good hostel in Berlin. Breakfast was completely sufficient, cleanliness was also satisfactory. Unfortunately, the neighbors in the room were a little louder at night, but that's not inevitable given the price.
