Pure relaxation, the peace and quiet is really wonderful, the holiday village is beautifully laid out, there is a farm shop box for small purchases, totally cool. Highly recommended to relax!

We arrived at around 8:15 p.m. and were rudely told at reception that check-in was actually until 7 p.m.There was a lack of simple things in the house, such as dishwashing liquid, soap in the bathroom or spices.Some things needed repair, the blind in the kitchen was hanging at half past seven. That's quite an imposition!But the houses themselves were cozy and the location is nice. A clear plus point is the 2 hours of free entry per day to the neighboring Obernsees thermal baths.

We had a premium holiday home with 6 people. Everything was available, well-kept furnishings, good beds. It was clean too. There is a bread roll service vice versa. Great hikes are signposted from there, walk to the thermal baths about 5 to 10 minutes.

The settlement is located with panoramic views over the Lochau valley. Overall it is quiet. The houses are modern and have good basic amenities. The cleanliness was good. The contact with the reception was without exception nice and uncomplicated. We (group of six families) were provided with beer tables and grills. Since the houses have different owners and are only rented centrally, there are differences in the furnishings, which is a shame. Not all houses had insect screens on the windows when it was hot and there were wasps. In addition, darkening the panoramic windows would have been great.The inclusive use of the thermal baths is great. This was a daily highlight, especially for the children. The region's recreational value is already huge.

We stayed in the Obernsees holiday village for six days in July and booked a semi-detached house with a panoramic view.The cleanliness was good. You can see from the inside of the house that little has been improved after visits (many marks on the walls). Since the house has really, really high ceilings, you can see the odd cobweb up there. In the bathroom, a small towel rail and the toilet holder fell off as soon as we touched them. It was seen that an attempt was made to temporarily repair it, but that didn't help. There were far too few plates and cutlery, which meant that we didn't use the dishwasher at all and instead washed them straight away.It is important to know that the panoramic window cannot be darkened. So if, like us, you are traveling with four people and two children are sleeping on the sofa bed, you have to be aware that it is only dark in the room at 10:30 p.m. and light again at 5:00 a.m.We chose the location specifically because you can easily reach many sights from there, e.g. Pottenstein, climbing park, Bamberg, game reserve, etc. Two bakeries are within walking distance and the children also had a great time visiting the thermal baths next door.

The houses are nice, but unfortunately a bit old and sometimes poorly maintained. The bed situation could be optimized, the sofa bed is an impositionAll the furniture is very cheap, but IKEA is still of high qualityOtherwise very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere with lots of families aroundIt's super cool that you can go to the thermal baths for 2 hours every day

We were there with 2 children. The bungalow was freezing cold, cleanliness mediocre. It was musty. The light in the bedroom didn't work, the drain from the sink in the bathroom was blocked because someone in front of us had obviously dropped a shampoo lid or cream lid in there and couldn't get it out, the toilet paper holder was already loose, the bathroom door couldn't be closed because it door is not locked. There wasn't even a bar of soap. The kitchen is very well equipped, but there were no pads for the Senseo coffee machine. Usually everywhere there is at least a minimum (tea bags and 3 or 4 coffee pods) to feel comfortable. The reception was not staffed. Nobody even asked if everything was okay. Obviously these bungalows are not maintained. The Obernsee thermal baths are currently under renovation and are therefore subject to restrictions in use. We weren't told that either.Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended for the price!

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 children) stayed in the Obernsees holiday village in the summer and unfortunately we can only agree with the previous bad reviews.1. the cleanliness of the holiday home leaves more than to be desired. In addition, the furnishings in the kitchen are very incomplete; even after asking several times in advance, they couldn't tell us what was in the kitchen and what you should bring with you.2. We can also confirm the problems with vermin and other animals (as in other reviews). We had a large hornet's nest right by the bedroom window and mice in the living area. We reported this directly and immediately to reception, but no one was able to solve the problems or take care of them.3. the alleged holiday village has nothing to do with what is imagined by the term “holiday village”. The playground is dangerous because it is run down and broken and otherwise it is pretty secluded in the middle of nowhere.Given these negative experiences, we of course left earlier, and no one was interested in that either.After the trip, I wrote an email twice to the holiday village and the organizer, but to date there has been no reply to clarify the matter.

We moved into a semi-detached panoramic bungalow with friends for a week.The disillusionment began when we found the floor in the bathroom very unclean (other people's hair...). After 1.5 hours of reporting to the manager who lived next to us, a cleaner actually came and vacuumed the floor.To apologize for the cleaning staff, it can be said that you can hardly do a better job with a clogged vacuum cleaner :-(Later we noticed that some of the lamps didn't work, the shower drain was blocked and overflowed after 2 minutes of showering, and the toilet paper holder was only temporarily attached and kept falling off. The walls in all rooms had seen better days and the construction was obviously designed to be highly efficient for the landlord.The view over the other houses is nice, but we imagined something different when we thought of a panorama.But now to the absolute highlight. We came with children and expected to meet other holiday guests there too. However, the "holiday village" was occupied by two buses of migrant workers, who left the facility on the buses between 4 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. to do their work somewhere. Workers and commuters were also accommodated in other bungalows. Unfortunately, this can't create a holiday mood.Nobody cared that we left the day before. We should just put the key in the mailbox. No questions, no interest...We don't go there anymore.

The review refers to Weißdornweg 19!The house itself is modern, it was very clean, the furnishings had nice colors. However, there are a few points of criticism that marred the whole thing:- The panoramic window in the living room offers a view of a scree meadow, not really pretty- Darkening of the window only in the lower area; if you also use the living room to sleep, you have to be able to cope with the brightness in the morning- very warm in the building despite moderate outside temperatures-Bathroom Large, shower very small, you constantly bump into the partition when soaping up (and we are all slim), storage in the bathroom would be nice-Two bushes directly on the terrace, whose rotting berries attracted wasps and blowflies, which then funneled into the house. Should you perhaps sit a little further away?-Kitchen large dishwasher, but so few dishes that you never got it full and therefore had to wash plates/cups/cutlery every day- no light above the worktop, cooking in the dark…There is still room for improvement...

The holiday home is modernly furnished and in top condition. A visit to the thermal baths was included in the price for 2 hours every day.Unfortunately, the good impression is marred by a few circumstances:Service:Arrival at 33 degrees outside temperature. The house was neither ventilated nor was the refrigerator turned on.The kitchen equipment was incomplete (only 2 knives)There was an ant nest on the terrace and the animals came into the house.The parasol was defective and was only replaced after a massive complaint.Environment:The meadow consisted only of weeds and was not a pretty sight.We had a house in the first row and were able to enjoy the view of a rubble path.The holiday village is away from life. Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in good hands there. Everyone else has to use the car to go out to eat.
