We were passing through Eurener Hof again in October 2024.Has the owner changed? No friendly greeting, no question as to whether we would like to dine there, completely unsuccessful reception. Can happen.However, it cannot be the case that the receptionist does not respond to our morning greeting and that the staff at breakfast just ask for the room number without any greeting.But at breakfast for €25 per person, the milk jug is visibly chipped, with a big crack in the coffee cup. The selection of sausage was significantly smaller, the fried vegetables were black!! I won't put something like that down. The seats and cushions were worn out - it looked really shabby.And the strong young man in the breakfast room stood there with his arms crossed over his chest - you felt like you were being watched by a bouncer.When we left breakfast there was no greeting from the employee or the man mentioned above.We mentioned this unfriendliness at reception - as well as the obvious deficiencies in the equipment. The boss has to walk through the house with his eyes open.We will not come back - and can no longer recommend it because the standards and condition are no longer compatible.

I occasionally travel around the region and have now slept in the Eurener Hof 6-7 times. The entire building is very clean and tidy, the food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is very rich. I've never lacked for anything! But I would particularly like to highlight the service in the restaurant and throughout the rest of the house. So far, every wish has been fulfilled and I always have the feeling that everyone is happy about my stay. Thank you for that!For those who claim otherwise, I can only say one thing: “As soon as you call into the forest, it rings out again!”

We were looking for a hotel in the evening after our arrival in Trier and this hotel was our choice because of the very attractive, old building. The rooms looked appealing on the internet... The reception was very distant, there can be no question of a warm welcome. Since we travel quite often and know that pictures often don't have much to do with reality, we asked you to take a look at the rooms that were offered to us.The so-called feel-good room that we were shown was tiny anduncomfortable, had no resemblance to what we had seen on the internet. We wouldn't have even taken that for €100, let alone the completely exorbitant price...Then the so-called family room. So there was definitely more space here. Everyone had their own bedroom, one a little larger than the bed and the other an acceptable size. However, it stopped with the furnishings and, above all, the price. 170 € without breakfast! A completely excessive price for what is offered. Two old rattan chairs that could be found in the bulky waste 30 years ago. And also a table of the same type. It was scary to see this brute from the bed and you wonder why, given the horrendous prices, the guest is expected to do something like that instead of putting two pretty new cocktail armchairs with a chic little table there. The TV was very small and we saved money on that.Long story short, we were happy when we left there again...I would like to emphasize that this information refers to room 234. There may also be nicely furnished rooms there.In any case, not this and charging 170 € for it is already borderline. However, the building would have received five stars from us.

Let's start with the price. I think more than €200 including breakfast for a double room in a suburb is completely excessive.The room itself was dated. Time seemed to stand still here. By that I don't mean the antique furniture, but the rest of the furniture. But it was very clean. That's a plus point.However, we would never book here again because the mattresses were so soft that we lay awake half the night.In the bathroom, the toilet was so awkwardly positioned that you could have touched the wall with your nose when using it.The rich breakfast was positive. However, one would have liked to have been asked about one's wishes more than just when taking a seat. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs offered were completely dry and half cold.Otherwise the breakfast was really great.The sauna area consisted of 2 saunas and a steam bath, as far as I saw. Unfortunately, the latter was not in operation at all. That left only the saunas.A business fee appeared on the invoice, for whatever. We were there privately.

I was there with work colleagues and I was surprised.Great ambience and service.Food was first class.I had beef broth as a starter, Portuguese shrimp stew as a main course and a chocolate variation for dessert.

We originally booked another accommodation. Since this was overbooked, we were moved to the “Eurener Hof”. The initial skepticism quickly disappeared when we saw this beautiful hotel. Not an ultra-modern and interchangeable object with a lot of tradition and flair. The interior design is also decorated with a lot of taste and love. Although the outside temperatures were very high, the temperature in the room was very pleasant even without air conditioning because of the thick outside walls. The room wasn't overly large, but it was very nice and functional. Lots of wood and little concrete.The staff was also very accommodating and friendly.But the best thing was the breakfast buffet. Extremely delicious. We hadn't had such a delicious breakfast in the last 15 years. Not to be topped. Be sure to book it.If we come to Trier again we will have a good time here.We're already looking forward to it.

This hotel has a great vibe – warm, friendly, and inviting. The rooms are clean, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the food is outstanding. I had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, and trust me, I've had quite a few. Highly recommended!

Absolutely recommended!Only small things are missing from 5 stars.An old house, stylishly and tastefully furnished without a lot of frills or kitsch. Pretty outdoor area, terrace.Breakfast and cuisine are excellent!
