The service in the restaurant was good and food was on the table quickly, even though the restaurant was full outside and inside. The food was good, but I've had better roulades. The ambience is typically pleasant in a pub.

I recently visited a restaurant Weseler Wirtshaus in the city center that serves German cuisine and was very impressed. In particular, the dish I ordered – beef Roland with potatoes and beetroot salad – was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, the potatoes were nice and crispy, and the beetroot salad complemented the dish wonderfully. The combination of flavors was excellent and made the meal a real treatThe restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, ideal to enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and service was quick. I particularly liked the central location, which makes the restaurant easily accessible. The prices are fair and reasonable for the quality of the food.I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy German cuisine in a pleasant environment. I'll definitely be back soon!

Today we spontaneously went to eat at the inn. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a table straight away even though it was full.Our order was taken straight away.We ordered mussels and all I can say is they were fantastic.I can't understand the negative reviews.Despite the stress, the staff all always had a smile on their faces and the service was quick. No glasses remained empty.I think that in this day and age you shouldn't be negative and just be happy that there are still super nice staff who are super friendly and always have a smile on their face despite the stress.We'll definitely be back.

It's really a shame... the atmosphere is so nice, prices are relatively high, but if the quality was good that wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, the food is more of a chip shop quality.The chili sauce for the beef skewer is definitely from a jar and the worst thing is the bread dumplings, ready-made product for soaking, greetings from Pfanni...really? In a restaurant? Fresh food is rarely cooked here. Once and never again

Placing High standards i can say that ribeye and argentinian steak was super, same for the salads and dessert. Very warm place and all the people working with a big smile. Concratulations to Chef for the menu and managment for the rest expirience. Proudly i can say that we finaly found the best place for eat in wesel. If been in Wesel dont miss it.

We went to the Weseler Wirtshaus this evening and it was fantastic. Even though we were very full, our drinks came quickly and the food was freshly prepared in a very reasonable time. And it really tasted phenomenal. Our waitress was really nice, there's no other way to express it. We can recommend it 100%. 👍🫶

We had something to eat at the inn during the wine festival in Wesel. We were completely disappointed. We had to wait a long time until the first service came to us. The drinks we ordered only came after 15/20 minutes. We only received the food after 40/45 minutes. Firstly, a salad with salmon was ordered. Unfortunately the salmon was very dry. The cheese spaetzle was also ordered. However, these were a huge disappointment. The sauce was okay and the spaetzle was bought ready-made. But the highlight was the currywurst fries. We only got a bratwurst in tomato ketchup. There was no sauce or anything like that, just regular tomato ketchup. We understand if it's a stressful day with lots of customers. However, customers cannot do this unfortunately. And that's special with a simple currywurst fries. If we hadn't had a lovely evening with our friends, I would have returned the food. If the curry sauce is empty, then you give the customer the information and don't just use tomato ketchup. It didn't taste good! This was our first and also our last visit there.

Very disappointed with the preparation and the waiting time. It's a bit cheeky to throw in black burnt toast. Pointed out, came about 8! MINUTES later bread! THE plate was almost empty. Sorry nil. And of course it wasn't the same - ladies' toast. The paprikschnitzel clearly had its sauce from a Knorr bottle and the fillet with chanterelles was drowned in cucumber water. It's a shame for the actually good meat.

We were here for the second time today. Unfortunately, we had probably put aside the first visit, although in retrospect it was better than today's.I ordered "crustlets that were served with fried potatoes, onions, bacon strips and a fried egg".My wife spareribs with baked potatoes. (There was already an apt description of this - largely tasteless and dry)Our dishes came after 45 minutes.My fried potatoes lacked any roasted flavor or browning and were limp, lukewarm and cold in places. Likewise these two!! Bacon strips.The crusts were two breaded schnitzels (also tasteless but at least warm).Since we had waited a long time and were hungry, we accepted it all and ate it.As we were clearing away the waiter asked if it was tasty.But he didn't really want to know that. After two sentences he left without a word.2 minutes later the boss probably came, he didn't introduce himself to us. An unpleasant person who is incapable of criticism and has no place in a service company.The fried potatoes and the bacon weren't cold, he said. He himself stood at the pan with the cook.Crustlets would also be nothing more than pieces of schnitzel. This is how it would be served here. In that case we would have gotten two pieces.Oh, there was also coleslaw with the dish. It's served cold. No, in the Weseler Wirtshaus that was the only really hot food on the plate. He found that normal too.Now we have learned the lesson and will no longer bother this gentleman with our visit.Conclusion: In a chip shop you could have eaten cheaper, faster and tasted better.
