The “apartment” was a partially dirty 1-room apartment with broken doors and sockets. All in all the very last location. You can walk in through the door to the street at any time without a key. But at least friendly staff.

A room was booked for 2 adults and a child. When we arrived at the location it was said that your accommodation was an apartment and you had to go 2 streets further (we didn't think that was a bad thing). When we got there we unlocked the front door and everything was already dirty and smelly. So when we arrived on the floor where our room was, there was a bucket with water, a mop and other cleaning supplies in the hallway. The door to the apartment showed clear signs of break-in and when it was unlocked it didn't smell very comfortable either. The carpet probably hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner in a long time, hair and lint everywhere. 3 single beds, no bedside table. The TV had a clear crack and did not have private TV channels as stated in the room. The kitchen was endlessly germy and everything stuck. The bathroom was very small but not bad. That also only seemed superficially clean. When showering there were two options: freezing or burning, alternating.

So I can't understand the reviews at all. Some people probably expect a 5-star Hilton for that price. I always like to take the pension. The room is clean, beds clean and comfortable, location very central and the service is also great. Always my pleasure.

actually ok for the price :) the employees were also very friendly, the room was clean and everything was fine.It just smells a lot like smoke but personally that doesn't bother me that much.walls are very noisy! the location is GREAT!!

Realtalk worst guesthouse I was in, the stair house was dirty, the room smelled of smoke when we went in, the doors were unhinged, the furniture was broken, there was a rusty balcony where you could look into the inner courtyard, which didn't do much good, there were lots of pigeons there had it was really bad the bathroom was dirty the kitchen was just sad you had 2 small pots and more not recommended the guesthouse is not generally you don't have to visit Dortmund 280€ for 1 night you expect more

Basic hotel with good location. Here is just what you need to spend the night. An excellent bed and a nice bathroom. Nothing more or less. The location is quite good on a quiet side street close to the center and the subway.

Very suitable for our purpose. an overnight stay with 4 people from 1 family to visit the Christmas market. we had an apartment in thomasstrasse.Very ideal for 1 night because of the location. wifi/location/price/staff definitely deserve a 5*. it was certainly clean.The kitchen should be thoroughly checked for defects. It is too small for several nights with a family.

Great central location, but they absolutely don't justify the price (just because there's a football game in town, they charge more than twice as much, a disgrace). The cleaning ladies do their job quite well, it was clean in itself, but the room and especially the bathroom still smell musty - no wonder, because there are traces of mold on the ceiling and windows in the bathroom. Every now and then there is another strong smell of drains. A loveless folding chair serves as seating. There are no hooks for jackets, which are difficult to store in the closet. Pillows and blankets are very thin, there was no second or third pillow if you wanted to sleep higher. The bed linen also smelled musty. And if it wasn't unpleasant enough, the rooms and hallways are extremely noisy. There is no door to the stairwell, so you were woken up by every guest in the stairwell who dropped their suitcases down the stairs and shouted loudly, which of course echoed beautifully through the tiles. There was no sleeping in. The cleaner (very nice and hard-working!) then brought her coughing son (?) with her and cleaned next door or opposite; you could follow their loud conversations word for word. We definitely won't be coming back and were happy when we had to leave. Poor value for money.

Was there with 2 friends for a short trip. The location is great, very central. But that was it again. The furnishings are damaged and the beds are completely worn out. The water in the bathtub hardly drains. When you run out of cigarettes, all you have to do is take a look under the bed. A lampshade was missing and the skylight is a death trap and the bathroom door is cursed. It opens by itself at night. We asked for a second room card which we never received. During the entire stay you saw a person from the accommodation once and then never again.Except for the price and the location, we are pretty dissatisfied.

Rarely have we seen such a run-down property. Sockets are broken, heating is warm when the outside temperature is 20 degrees because the thermostat head is broken, the bed is totally sagging and then at 10 in the evening the room door won't open with the card. 20 euros per night is already too much. Only the location is good, although sleeping with the window open at night is difficult because of the noise
