The catering industry has been going through a particularly difficult time for years, especially small, privately run companies like the Prinz Carl coffee house unfortunately cannot rely on money from investors in the background and have to pass on the price adjustments that are pushed through by politicians to their customers in order to survive to be able to. So anyone who is bothered by rising prices should please direct their criticism to the real people who caused these “adjustments” and not take their anger out on those who have to deal with this madness on the front line with the end customer, even though they never spoke out in favor of it. By the way, this also refers to the glaring shortage of skilled workers, which some people indirectly comment on here. Finding skilled staff in the catering industry these days is very difficult. So please be a little kinder to the people who, despite the madness from outside, still try to run a business and make good products. Because that's what the Prinz Carl coffee house has been able to do for years, despite crises. Mrs. Vetter and her ladies bake the most wonderful cakes and serve them with a love that, unfortunately, you hardly find in coffee houses these days.

Bought 4 pieces of cake/pies. Two inedible. The sour cream cake tasted mainly of pudding powder. A strawberry cake didn't have fresh strawberries on the first layer, but rather frozen ones. Fresh strawberries were only a secondary topping. Of course, the inferior strawberries can be better processed on the first soil. You can't see that! That's a no go. I'm shocked!!! Especially when you consider how expensive the cakes are, over four euros! I can judge this because I bake a lot myself, including cakes. I can clearly distinguish between fresh and frozen fruits. It's unbelievable how money is being taken out of customers' pockets these days! The only thing that is high quality is the price!
