Very pleasant stay and the price-performance ratio is impressive.Although my room didn't have a TV, that wasn't really a loss given the program. Otherwise I found my room very good.The staff is also very nice.

In a very old manor house, a lovingly furnished hotel. You feel like you are at least over 100 years ago. The furniture and probably the fittings in the bathroom are just as old.The water pressure for showering was extremely poor and the old bed was very creaky. But if you love the old ambience, nature, peace and history, you are in good hands. Crooked stairs, crooked floors, on every landing there was historical furniture, typewriters and so on, it was very interesting and radiated peace and sophistication. We still felt very comfortable.Everything was very clean.The breakfast was a little meager at eight euros per person, there was no buffet, only place settings. But upon request, fried eggs or scrambled eggs were made, which tasted very good.Price performance was okay.

Very nice, very special atmosphere. Hotel and equestrian castle. Very friendly owner family and service staff. Rooms with antique furnishings. Beautiful courtyard to sit outside. Cozy restaurant to sit inside. Delicious food. We stayed here for 2 nights as non-riders. A feel-good place!

The garden to sit and have a drink or something to eat is like from another time, romantic and enchanted. Almost nothing has changed since we used to go there as children. A wonderful place that doesn't exist anywhere else. You give the plants and the history that unfold here the space they need. In addition, a very friendly and personable service, almost family-like. If you like something original, this is the place for you.

If you like a family atmosphere, this is the right place for you. This hotel is also perfect for those who like to visit museums.There is something to see everywhere, every room tells stories. The people who work there are very welcoming.Thank you for this experience!(Unfortunately only 4 stars for the room because the lamps didn't work and the shower door was very stuck)

Very nice rustic accommodation, highly recommended as a riding stable. Nevertheless, a friendly, family atmosphere even for us non-riders. All of our wishes were met and fulfilled immediately. Highly recommended for nature-loving people!!!

Let yourself in, let go and immerse yourself in a world that makes you forget everyday life. Into a world that begins with horses in the morning and ends with them in the evening. Into a world in which time seems to stand still. You won't find the comfort of four stars here, but you will find a hotel and a professionally run riding stable with an all-round feel-good package for people and horses. No matter whether it is the delicious food, the homemade cakes, an afternoon coffee in the castle garden or enough fresh hay and straw and a beautiful box, everyone is lovingly taken care of. I ride dressage at M level and was looking forward to the lessons with Ms. Pape. She first looked at everything calmly, picked us up exactly where I wanted support, and gave tips that I could use with minehorse in such a way that we saw success and always made sure that the unity between rider and horse was never lost. Her calm demeanor passed on to us and my gelding, who is usually very jumpy, was able to ride easily and had fun. We both had an incredibly wonderful time and will definitely return to this magical place in the fall.

The last time I was a guest there was about 60 years ago. Our family went there every summer for many years and we had a lot of fun. Wacho still existed back then, and the Pape family will probably still remember the big white dog. Thank you for many wonderful summer holidays and special greetings to Hans.

Was there for the eventing course during the Easter holidays 😊👍🏻 It was a really nice holiday with very good riding lessons from Mareike. Great, uncomplicated team that fulfills all wishes when it comes to the riding program. Extending the vacation was also no problem. The atmosphere with a lot of solidarity and shared joy on horses is truly admirable. The school horses were allowed to spend their paddock time together on the cross-country course, which was very nice to see. All very good teaching horses in the course or in the field. I came with my own horse and everything was super uncomplicated, my horse also felt comfortable.In the summer the whole thing will of course be booked again immediately 😍

An excellent, very clean and very nice hotel. I stayed there because there was a seminar nearby. I would love to do that again and again. I took a look at the negative comments, but with the best will in the world I can't agree with them. The horses all look healthy and happy and are ridden very often. The food is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and approachable. I can only say high praise here and would love to come back again and again. Unfortunately I didn't ride, so I can't say anything about it.If anyone is still undecided, I would highly recommend this hotel.
