We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and had a great balcony from which you could also have a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast was very tasty. The owner is very friendly and helpful, he seems to do his job with full dedication. The location is great if you want to reach the mountains and fields on foot, and you can also walk to a beautiful path by the stream in just a few minutes. A few restaurants are also within walking distance. Within about 15-20 minutes (on foot) you can be in the center of the city. There is also a bus stop in the immediate vicinity from which you can go directly to Eibsee.

We can only say that the stay at the Alpengühen guesthouse was a dream. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. There are fresh towels every day. The location is great, you tumble out of the house and have the Zugspitze right in front of your nose. There is a parking space directly behind the house. Shopping opportunities and great restaurants are also nearby. The way to the city center is very short. The breakfast is delicious and is served with such warmth that you immediately feel at home. All in all just wonderful. We would love to come back.

EvaluationFour of us were in Garmisch for a hiking holiday. The inn is in a good location. The beds are comfortable. Had a great view of the Kramerberg from the balcony. There are parking spaces behind the house. Every day, trash and ashtrays were emptied and used towels were changed. We got a bus ticket for the green bus for the duration of our stay (I think it was line 2), but didn't use it. There is a small refrigerator, TV with remote control, great WiFi, various glasses, enough toilet paper, bed linen and enough hangers in the closet with mirror (inside on the door). We also had a table with a seating area in the room as well as two balcony chairs and a small folding table. Mr. Hengge was very nice and helpful :) he remembered our names and preferences straight away. We felt very comfortable. Cheap option to live in Garmisch. It was ideal for our needs.

As expected for the price, the rooms were clean, but the same as they were 40 to 50 years ago. Unfortunately breakfast buffet was not possibleUnfortunately, the breakfast was very monotonous because it was the same every morning. On the positive side, there were fresh towels every day

We were here for the first time as a small family. It's a nice little place to stay and very familiar. We check every day whether the garbage is full or something else is missing. For us it was a successful vacation. We will definitely come back.
