We stayed at the Ostler guesthouse for a whole week and everything went well from day 1. There were 4 of us and we had great accommodation. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and living room + kitchenEverything was great and authentically furnished, we didn't miss anything, there were enough dishes, a dishwasher and a large dining table in the kitchen. Next door there is a storage room with all kinds of cleaning supplies including a vacuum cleaner. The accommodation was really very clean and we felt very comfortable. The location is also great, it's a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and the cog railway that takes you directly to the Zugspitze. Very centrally located with many restaurants and cafes nearby, drinks market, supermarkets 3km away.Many thanks to the Ostler family

A great apartment with very nice hosts.But that alone is not enough to charge €85/high season.The kitchen equipment is sparse.For our next winter vacation we have already booked an apartment with a “complete” kitchenette and a cheaper price.We had a nice time...but comfort for the price could certainly be better!

Unfortunately our vacation is already over but we felt very comfortable in the Gasterhaus Ostler.The rooms were clean, you slept very well in the beds and the location of the guest house is nice and central.If there were questions, something was missing or you wanted to have a nice conversation, Ms. Ostler always took the time.We'd love to come back

We had the FW Zugspitze, the FW had everything you needed, everything was very clean, spacious and up to date, simply excellent, what you would imagine from a holiday in a FW. The location is very central in town and the view from the balcony is gigantic. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating, the house is very neatly furnished and there was even a bread roll service every morning. There are enough parking spaces in front of the house. This house can really only be recommended and given 5 stars.

Went to Ostlers in the summer of 2020 and were completely satisfied. Kitchen well equipped, everything very clean and tastefully decorated. Incredible view of the Zugspitze from the balcony. Gladly again... when something is available again :) The house seems to be very popular.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ostler guesthouse. We also stayed in the Alpengarten holiday apartment for 10 nights and yes, there was only one "sharp" knife, but even without it we would have survived the 10 days just fine ;). Nevertheless, many thanks to the previous tenant). The equipment itself is completely sufficient for 2 people. I think the few dirty dishes that arise between two people can be washed up in 5 minutes and are no reason for criticism. Tip: next time book an apartment with a dishwasher. Speaking of the dishwasher: We had 3 tabs in the cupboard but no dishwasher, and a search was unsuccessful ;).The hosts were also very friendly! However, we have two small points of criticism. On the one hand, we didn't receive any information by when we had to leave the holiday apartment on the day of departure at the latest. So our breakfast on that day was a little smaller and we had to vacate. Ergo, 10 a.m. would be too late. But I think this is due to the current situation surrounding Covid19 and the lack of guest information. We simply forgot to ask and thought that 10 o'clock would be a good time to say goodbye.And secondly, salt and pepper. This was our first holiday apartment where this was missing.But all in all a very successful stay :)Stay healthy!

We stayed in the FeWo Alpengarten for 6 nights and unfortunately we weren't that impressed. Since we came during the Corona period, we don't want to complain about the distance to the landlords; I think that was part of the hygiene measures.However, we had the feeling that until the end no one in charge wanted to know whether we had arrived safely and whether we were missing anything. Only grandma, who lives in the house and to whom we gave the keys, asked how we liked it.The equipment for two people was available, but in small numbers, so that plates, dishes, pots and pans had to be washed immediately every time so that you wouldn't be left without utensils for the next meal; tedious and annoying when you actually want to do something and there is no other option like a dishwasher.Unfortunately, the existing cutting knives were an imposition and cutting vegetables was out of the question; We then quickly bought a cutting knife and left it in the apartment.Since we were probably the first guests after the Corona break, there may be dead flies or wasps in the room. We would have liked if the cleaning staff had perhaps checked the apartment more closely beforehand and perhaps also removed the dust (see pictures, taken immediately after arrival).Would we come back? Probably not. We felt too much like “paying customers” and not “guests”.
