Good food and a nice place to stay overnight on the way to the Zugspitze summit. Since we had bad weather when we arrived, the short climb to the hut suited us very well. You will also be woken up musically.

Highly committed, alternative and young hut team, without fancy people - there is passion and, it should be emphasized, conviction everywhere. The food is all homemade with craftsmanship - no standard convenience food. The helicopter supply doesn't make the whole thing a bargain, of course. The hut is old, ancient, and you can feel it with every creaking step. The spoiled glamor climber will have problems with the old structures. According to the staff, the very narrow mattress widths inherited from the old ones are never used per person. Precisely because the dimensions are very out of date. So there is no need to worry about unwanted cuddling. Given the water and energy situation, it's worth considering whether you need to take a warm shower every morning in huts these days. The fresh bread you get in the morning has “eating powder” value: you eat it because it tastes good.Vegetarians and vegans have an extremely richly laid table here; a rarity in the hut landscape.

I can't say anything about the overnight accommodation options.The service was top. <3The meal was a goosebumps moment, perhaps just because of the moment, the surroundings and the adventure that was accomplished, but it was simply incredibly delicate.The hut is very old, but that's how it has to be.

A beautiful, rustic DAV hut that offers exactly the charm and coziness you are looking for in the mountains. Everything is organic, which makes the hut even more likeable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and committed. They work tirelessly and attach great importance to cleanliness and hygiene, which is not a given in such a rustic hut. You can see the long hours the team worked in every detail. The hut may be old, but that's exactly what makes it so special. There is everything you need to stay in the mountains, with great food but no unnecessary luxury (which some people seem to expect). Absolute recommendation for nature and mountain lovers!PS: It's not just the crowded Zugspitze here :)

We spontaneously spent a night here because the path to the Knorrhütte was blocked due to the avalanche situation. The team around hut landlord Andy is very friendly and warm. We didn't expect the food of this quality in a hut. It can easily compete with any restaurant in the valley. Almost everything is offered in organic quality. We'll definitely be back!

The breakfast was very tasty, the atmosphere in the hut was very cozy. Unfortunately we had bed bugs in the shared room. Since the problem seems to be known based on past comments, I would like containment measures to be taken or at least appropriate information to be given upon arrival.

**A second home in the middle of the Alps**The Reintalangerhütte exceeded my expectations in every respect. The warm welcome and the attentive team welcomed me straight away - it felt like you had arrived with friends.The surroundings are simply breathtaking. Nestled in a picturesque mountain backdrop, you feel at one with nature. The peace and quiet and the clear mountain stream that flows past the hut make your stay an unforgettable experience.The rooms are cozy and clean, equipped with everything you need for a break in the mountains. The service is attentive, friendly and always there when you need it.And the food? Damn delicious! Every meal is an experience in itself. The fresh, organic ingredients and the loving preparation make every dish something special.I can only warmly recommend the Reintalangerhütte – here you will find peace, hospitality and pure nature.

I've been going to the hut regularly for about 4 years. I have now fallen in love with this place and the people here. Thank you for everything I've been able to experience here!But now to the “interesting” reviews from the three gentlemen who were here recently. I can't understand your experience with the best of intentions. The team works here from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and only allows themselves a short break during breakfast, the team meeting and dinner to organize themselves and take a deep breath. Otherwise, they are always there and look after all guests with a lot of dedication - usually no one waits here for more than a few minutes. If something is overlooked, you might even have the idea to reach out in a friendly manner, right?The team works with passion and I honestly think it's a shame to have to read such bad reviews. I find it particularly impressive how much energy the gentlemen still had for a detailed online review after a long, cold day in the mountains - respect!Personally, I can't understand what went wrong. It would have been really nice to get direct feedback on the spot, but of course I understand that the Internet is a much more convenient way to express yourself without getting into an uncomfortable situation.P.S. to you three: always think about your karma ✌️

The Reintalangerhütte is a little paradise in the mountains! The warm atmosphere and the incredibly friendly team made my stay very special. You can feel the passion and care that goes into every detail here. I was particularly impressed by the diverse vegetarian and even vegan offerings - rarely found in the mountains! I felt completely comfortable and welcome and can recommend the hut to anyone who values closeness to nature and delicious food equally. Simply a magical place!

No service. We had registered with the service team but were ignored (more than 20 minutes). Instead, people from the kitchen looked at us but ignored us. I recommend the Knorrhütte, everything went perfectly there.

Yesterday we completed our 1-day tour to the Zugspitze.We wanted to make a short stop there, but unfortunately we weren't served even though we were the only guests.When we arrived we asked and were told that the waitress was coming to us. However, nothing happened for 20 minutes. Completely unsuitable for hikers.
