It was a great vacation. Ms. Esch is very nice, helpful and gave me good tips for excursions.The apartment is nice and bright, clean and has a great view of the mountains.The bathroom and kitchen are modernly furnished. And have everything you need. I stayed with my daughter for a week in July and were very satisfied.

This was our second time at the Riesch guesthouse and we really liked it. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. The apartment is very, very clean, tidy and cozy. Ms. Esch is very friendly and very helpful. We felt extremely comfortable and really enjoyed our vacation. Thank you.

The perfect place to stay in Garmisch. The apartment is clean, cosy and has an amazing balcony with a mountain view of the Zugspitze. The location is excellent and is just 5min walk outside of the centre of Garmisch. The host Frau Esch is very friendly and gave us lots of useful information. Next time we come to Garmisch, we will certainly stay at Guesthouse Riesch again. Highly recommend!

Had the single room for 3 nights - very large, clean and lovingly furnished, including south-facing balcony and sink. A large bathroom with shower/toilet (only for the single room) is next door. Everything is available, numerous towels/bath towels, kettle, coffee, milk.The guest house is very centrally located... a few meters from the pedestrian zone. Would book it again at any time.

We felt very comfortable. The welcome was very warm. Everything is in top condition, freshly renovated and, above all, spotlessly clean. The location is very good: central and yet reasonably quiet.Since our daughter was in the children's hospital and we only needed a holiday apartment for a weekend, we were very grateful that we were able to book the apartment. Thank you very much for this.

We were guests at the Riesch guesthouse at the beginning of August and felt completely at home. Ms. Esch was very accommodating, always had an open ear and helped us a lot with great tips for leisure activities/restaurants.The apartment is in great condition and very clean. The new modern kitchen invites you to cook. The balcony with its great view does the rest.The guest house is very centrally located. You can easily reach the center on foot with, among other things, a large selection of great restaurants. A cult baker is also very close.Conclusion: Very happy again! If we stay in the area again, the Riesch guest house will be our first port of call.

The apartment was super nice, new bathroom, very well equipped kitchen, towels, toilet paper etc. Everything was provided. Great view of the mountains, central location in Garmisch but still quiet. Landlady very helpful and gives tips on what you can do. Although the weather was very changeable, we had a great and entertaining stay here.

Great holiday apartment, furnished with great attention to detail, with a wonderful view from the balcony of Alpspitze and small and large Waxenstein, where you immediately feel at home! My maiden name is Kaiser. I lived in this beautiful house with my grandfather Paul Kaiser, his wife and daughter Heidi Kaiser. The house has changed a bit but these are my best memories of Garmisch. Very nicely furnished holiday apartments in a beautiful house. The central location of Haus Riesch is really great. You can reach everything in Garmisch on foot. The hosts are also very friendly. We'd love to come back!

The location of the Gästehaus Riesch is great, you are almost right in the center, and yet very quiet in a small side street.The view of the snow-covered Alpspitze from the balcony early in the morning is simply fantastic. The rooms are newly renovated. My parents have been regular guests for well over 10 years and I am now a regular here too. It's a warm, personal atmosphere, and that's why we keep coming back.Breakfast is served in the living room. Alexandra always asks if anything is missing. If you have special requests, that will also be taken into account. Of course, a small guesthouse cannot offer the huge breakfast buffet of a large hotel, but can score points with individual service. Of course, it's a bit unusual to be pointed out about slippers. But who doesn't look forward to clean accommodation that stays clean?We will definitely come back because we always felt very comfortable.

We were there in winter to ski. The guesthouse is in a good location, not very far from the bus stop. The rooms are fine. It's a bit weird that you should take your shoes off because of a renovation so that you don't get the carpet dirty. Makes sense, but maybe you should think about something other than carpet. And maybe let us know in advance so that you can bring slippers with you. I don't like walking around the house in my socks. The advice to please be careful not to scratch the wall with your bag is also a bit strange. It should actually go without saying.The breakfast was rather meager. There were baked rolls, even though the bakery was around the corner. We even had to ask again if we could get another roll, as we were only given one for each. Although the breakfast lady (not the boss) was very helpful and nice, she didn't spoil the breakfast itself.
