We spontaneously booked a double room at the Pension Huis'n while we were passing through because we wanted to drive to the Zugspitze early the next morning.The room was cozy and comfortably furnished, the bathroom and room were sparkling clean and the direct view of the Zugspitze was fantastic, the walk to the Zugspitzbahn was only 2 minutes away.The breakfast was extensive and nothing was missing. The landlady was attentive and hospitable.We can only recommend the house

This is the fifth time we have stayed at the guesthouse in Grainau. Sometimes a holiday apartment with breakfast, sometimes a room with breakfast. We are always very satisfied with the service, the cleanliness and everything surrounding it. Only recommended.From the rooms there is a wonderful view of the mountains in the area around the Zugspitze.

Quaint house with great rooms in a rustic style, small and cozy, completely sufficient. Very dear hosts, they provide you with a great breakfast very lovingly and even your wishes are tried to be implemented as best as possible. We can only recommend it.

Very nice house; Very nice room with a balcony and a view of the Zugspitze! Top location: a few meters from Zugspitz train station, bus stop almost in front of the door! And still quiet! Entire area accessible by public transport!Very friendly host family! Breakfast with everything you need, wishes are asked for and fulfilled. Pleasant atmosphere! Hiking trails from your front door! Many excursion destinations in the area! We would be happy to come back to the Guesthouse Huis'n at any time

A small but beautiful hotel. The room is fully equipped. The store owner was very helpful and arranged everything in an orderly manner. The location is close to the station and convenient for travel. The connection to skiing is relatively smooth. Recommended to stay.

Cozy guest house with a fantastic view of the Grainau church and the mountains. Overall, the building is very rustic on the inside, but that's exactly what I found cozy. Rooms very clean and bathroom just renovated a few years ago. Balcony with a great view. Delicious and rich breakfast buffet. The operator, Ms. Grüner, is very nice.

My locationGuesthouse Huis'n - guest rooms and holiday apartmentsWaxensteinstraße 41, 82491 GrainauAccommodation in residential buildingsA week ago we were booked into Haus Huisn with the Grüner family for 7 nights (2 people in a double room with breakfast). The rooms and the house are very clean, and the bathroom was recently renovated. The furnishings are “rustic” to suit the holiday destination. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony - it's fun to drink a beer or glass of wine on the balcony after an eventful day and enjoy the view. Due to the Corona situation, breakfast was brought to the table (normal buffet). However, nothing was missing, if you did you could order it at any time and it would be brought to the table or taken care of for the next morning - TOP. The location is very central, among other things, to the Zugspitzbahn stop, which passes almost directly in front of the guesthouse - but it doesn't bother you, you hardly notice it at all. From the guesthouse you can reach many pubs/restaurants on foot. The guesthouse offers the opportunity to buy chilled drinks (beer, shandy, wine, water, etc.) at reasonable prices on site. You can take these yourself from the fridge in the hallway, enter them into a list and then pay for them when you check out - very pleasant and positive. After all these positive aspects - why am I deducting a star? There is a church directly opposite the guest house and it begins its service every morning at 6 a.m. with a very loud and long-lasting bell. Certainly not a problem for early risers or deep sleepers, but we were awake at 6 a.m. every morning. Basically, the pension or the Grüner family can't do anything about it, but I wanted to mention that here and include it in my review. Conclusion: We felt very comfortable and well looked after and would spend our holiday here again - even with the church bells 😉

Very nice, small village of Grainau. Nice accommodation, relatively small rooms, but functional. Unfortunately, holiday apartments were long gone. Still a great area, if you like mountains this is the right place for you. Not to forget, of course, the Zugspitze.
