WE WANTED TO GO ON VACATION FOR 3 DAYS - but as soon as we CHECKED IN, the CULTURE SHOCK came...There was a pair of used women's underwear in the wardrobe, we immediately complained, the 'boss' appeared, she apologized for the 'oversight' and wanted to leave it at that!The case was closed for them, but not for us!We felt DISGUST and expressed it that way!Finally, the next day we suggested that we 'settle' the matter with a discount. This was strictly contradicted in a more than arrogant manner. In return they offered to be able to cancel immediately free of charge... we didn't want that, we had booked 3 nights, not one!Another day later, right after breakfast, Mrs. and Mr. Motzek (who introduced themselves as the owner) appeared and asked how we were? We once again expressed our displeasure with the incident and reiterated the proposed discount. Once again we experienced strong, unreasonable objections that ended with a demand for immediate payment!!!Finally we paid pro rata for 2 nights and were asked to leave the guesthouse within 1 hour... which we did.Last but not least... the crowning achievement of the whole thing was that the owner finally said that we should keep in mind that he had studied at "HAVARD..." in any further steps we might plan...!This probably doesn't need to be commented on any further???Summary: A PASS IN THE WATER WITH VERY UNPLEASANT PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!

The restaurant is a nice and cozy place to eat. A table should be reserved in good time.The food is very tasty and plentiful...The service is very good and nice...I can only recommend it...

Very tasty food in the restaurant. We still got a place at 5 p.m., even though everything was completely reserved from 6 p.m. We were kindly informed that this was the case and the chef was so quick that it was still a relaxed atmosphere without any rush. Thanks

Room very warm. Fly screens only two thirds closed. The toilet can only be flushed when the lid is closed. The first evening we had oily, warmed fries with our meal. Haven't eaten there anymore. Satisfied atmosphere. But don't come here anymore. Closed at 9 p.m. Also booked 7c and received 7b?

We stayed at the guesthouse in August 2024. We arrived at 1:30 p.m., room keys are only available at 2 p.m. sharp and not a minute earlier. (Not bad for sales.)The room was very warm, there was a fan available but it just swirls the warm air around and is too loud at night. Opening the windows at night wasn't good either, as the fly screens were only half installed and it was very loud from the street.The staff was very friendly and the food including breakfast was good.We wouldn't book at the Kräutermühlenhof again.

Spent one night in the guesthouse. There were benches outside where you could relax, where you had to be careful not to break through them as the wood was rotten and the paint was peeling off. The associated restaurant could only be visited with advance orders and at a specified time. Prices were very high and the selection of food was minimal. But the taste was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious, but refilling the items that ran out was slow.

We can only recommend this guesthouse.Rooms clean, staff very friendly, food tastes very good and breakfast is excellent.Keep it up. There is no need to say anything more about it.

We can only recommend it, but the prices in the restaurant are quite high and it is only open until 8 p.m. But great ambience and very nice service. And there was a small fridge in the room, which we are always happy about.
